Awful. NOT CHEW SAFE
Don’t buy these unless you want to take your kitties to the vet cuz they swallowed the rubber. On first glance it looks cheaply made and smells weird out of the package. The cat nip sachets don’t fit inside very well and one little nick from a claw or a tooth breaks the rubber, not silicone, off in small chunks. Literally will kill your cat or injure them if ingested. How on earth is this still a product. UNSAFE

So far they are a hit
Got this mainly for my sphynx because she chews on things like a dog and I have a pair of slides she started chewing the heal of since throwing away a small Kong bone she normally chewed on. These are perfect and a big hit so far with all my cats. Not for chewing of course but my bengal carries them around in her mouth. So, so far these are great. I will update if anything changes as it has only been a few days.

Gave It a Shot
I purchased these over competitors for its budget friendly price. My cats are chewers, and I needed to fill their need with different textures and materials. This item, seemed like it would work. I particularly like the spikes. I like that there is two per order. However, I rate two stars because I couldn’t use them for its really strong odor out of the package. It didn’t seem like catnip odor to me, because I already have some. I also changed my mind about these on a safety technicality when I realized after I purchased them that the gold plugs are a loose part that could potentially be swallowed. Otherwise, this was close to what I was looking for. Return process was pleasant. Thanks!

Very unsafe toy that gets chewed apart
CAUTION, DO NOT BUY IF YOU DON’T WANT TO END UP WITH A SICK CAT OR COSTLY VET BILL…. I bought a two pack of these six months ago for my two kittens who were three and a half months old at the time. They didn’t show much interest in them, but I still left them around the house for them because they were teething. Fast forward 6 months later, and my male kitten decided to make lunch out of it and chewed the tail off and swallowed it in several pieces. He ended up throwing up two of the pieces on two different days and so I took him to to the vet to get checked. After being given a few options of what to do next, I took him home to monitor for the next two days. He had stopped throwing up but also stopped going to the bathroom completely. So I took him to emergency pet clinic where they did x-rays, ultrasound and found a foreign object in his intestine. They wanted to perform surgery for 7k, but I thankfully had the sense to check with another hospital who could do it for a fraction of their cost the next morning. To sum up the end of this story, I took my kitten there and they ended up doing X-rays themselves and found the object had moved down into the colon and thought it could pass naturally without surgery thank god. So he’s back home on a special diet, cat lax and had fluids injected along with an anti-nausea shot. All in all, this week cost me $1,700😞

I bought these looking for something that was rubbery…since my kitty likes to chew our Crocs and soles of our shoes.These smell so strongly of perfume that they give me a headache and my cat won’t come ANY WHERE near them. I have washed them and soaked them in water but they still stink! What chemical were they doused in? YUCK!
