This is a great product!
My brother and I have two cats they are siblings! We adopted them after their owner, had to move and couldnât take them! My brother and I are both older and the male cat just seems like heâs highly moving and heâs gaining a lot of weight! His sister, of course is the same age and sheâs like half his size because she moves around and he does not! So Iâve been looking online at Amazon at different things to entertain the cats! And I did see products that were similar to this one to help get your cats moving and having fun! But the reviews were not good! So kind of gave up and then I went back and started looking again because the male cat is just getting worse and worse! So I read a review on one of them that I had read before and they said that they have changed them some things to make it better and they explained it! But What really got me was reading a review from women who had had another one in the past and now she tried this one! And they do say on the product and this consumer said yeah, they recently improved it! Well, this user settled this in her review and I decided to try one! And they even offer you a good deal if you donât like it because they have improved it so much that they know people are gonna like it! Well, our big cat Was getting so lazy so he laid there without doing too much when it was on, but he did a little bit and I was happy about that but his sister was all over the place that light! And within a couple days Max started Playing with it more and more! So I think it was about a week after we got it. He actually found Amazon box. I hadnât put away yet. Itâs a pretty big box. He actually got in that box not just once but several times & he goes after the light! Not as much as his sister does, but he still does and he still now moving a lot more! It might be a little over a week now Iâm not sure but I think that amount of time thatâs pretty good progress! And I think heâll be losing weight and hopefully getting a lot more healthy because he still likes that light! And heâs just a lot more active! It has been making me cry, happy tears because I didnât want him to die from not moving enough! I just praise that lady that caves that good review and it is so true! And you can even plug it in and not use batteries. I havenât used one battery in it. We just plug it in and charge it or you could leave it plugged in all the time, I think! Do whatever is safest, but this will really help your kitties getting better shape or stay in better shape!

Itâs dying on us
After some use the laser starts glitching. It has blank spots and the laser is not continuous. Possibly hits some loose wires in the head and the beam gets blocked. It was great for our growing cat but didnât expect it to fail so quickly.

This toy has worked great for my cat. Biggest down fall is battery life. I just keep it plugged in all the time now. Battery dies rather quickly without being plugged in.

Cats loved it, but stopped working after 7 months – Edit – Seller Replaced, happy kitties
Our two cats loved it. The motion sensor would be set off when we would be behind the unit (it was next to staircase). After 7 months the laser got off track inside the unit so it is only visible for a few seconds when it turns on then it moves and no longer is visible on the floor. Sent message to seller, will see if I hear anything.Edit – Seller got back to me quickly and said they would send me another unit. Couple days later got the new one and the cats are happy again.So I took the old one apart to see what might be the issue, the laser is on a disk that spins around via a small motor, only issue I can see is that the wires that go from the circuit board to the laser were not routed correctly and actually passed in front of the laser, which would then block the laser from getting out of the unit. Had the wire been routed around the back of the laser instead of in front of it, this problem would have been avoided.Since there are quite a few reviews about this not working after in less than a year, I’m sure they are all connect the same way inside, there is only 1 screw to remove. But was not easy to pry open once the screw was taken out, soft tap from a rubber mallet popped it right open, with no damage. Now I have two lasers. More is always better, HA HA

Great buy, very quiet, but it does have it’s issues.
This is the best stand alone auto laser I have seen and purchased no doubt. IT does come with some issues however.I have purchased two of these. One is flawless aside from the listed issues below. The other came with a wire inside right down the middle of where the laser will shine. This leaves a pretty large “blind” spot where the laser hits the wire and you cant see it on the floor. Probably made in china.The battery life is just ridiculous. This thing is supposed to be automatic and sit on a table and sorta be care free. You will be charging this every 3 days at least if you leave it on and simply rely on the motion detection.Motion detection… I’m not sure how this is supposed to work with cats. If you ahve it on the floor then fine it will pick up the cat and be good. The reality is, you will likely put this up on a table to shine down on the floor to get a better motion and run space for the animal. That being said, unless your cat is the size of a small car, this thing doesn’t work well with the motion detection. My cats are two maine coons by the way. THe largest breed of cat on the planet. They don’t set this off if it’s looking down at them from a table. – I do set it off when I walk by though. Maybe just a motion detection aiming issue.Laser is strong and good and bright. Love the ability to change the speed.My favorite thing about this is how silent they are. You can almost not even hear this thing at all. You can hear the vibration of hte motor through the table and that’s about it.

First thing first, my cats love it. They chase after the red dot whenever it is on.However I have the following questions about how it works.I got it a few days ago, and I let it plugged in 24/7 since. However it comes on something like every 4 hours+ instead of the stipulated 2-hour interval. And it does not come on when I move in front of it – doesn’t it say it is motion-activated ? I want it to stop at night but even I unplug it, it will still turn on in that 4-hour interval.Most probably I don’t use it properly – maybe someone here can enlighten me.
