Customers say
Customers like the keychain for its functionality, tag holder, and durability. They say it works well on collars and harnesses, keeping tags secure without falling off. The holder keeps tags closer to the collar, which reduces jangling noise. Many of them find it easy to use, remove, and move around. However, some customers have mixed opinions on how well it fits.

Makes tag switching a breeze and is as durable as your dog
I bought this brand, style and material tag holder 7 years ago when we got a new puppy as I was tired of the hassle of moving tags from collar to collar as a puppy out grew her smaller collars, as I had with our older dog. This holder has held tags through many succession of collars and has stood up to bring pulled and chewed by other dogs while playing and rough housing, sparing tags being pulled from the collar and being lost, as well as being soaked in rain and snow, and covered in dirt and mud and having to be washed, proving how durable it really is. It fit well on all sizes of collars we have bought her over the years. We just got a other new puppy and he had one tag he promptly lost as the collar tag ring broke before he even out grew the collar, which sent me searching for one of this brand again as he is about due to have his first set of adult vaccinations and to get the tags to go along with his dog license. We were in luck when the collar tag ring broke while he played with our older dog and found the license as our city provides free lifetime licenses but you’re only ever issued one tag. I was thrilled to find these still available on Amazon. As mentioned, this tag holder has proved to us just how durable it is and even after 7 years shows no fraying or wear except for a bit of fading. My daughter wanted a new one for her older dog when she found they now had them in purple but it would be the only reason to replace hers and just changing color is not a reason to buy her a new one. But definitely bought one for the new dog as I really want his tags to be safely on his collar and easily moved from collar to collar for many more then 7 years. Since hers looks to last a great many more years to come, I fully expect this new one to last our new guy for just as many!

Perfect solution for my “big little” German Shepherd
I wasn’t sure if this would fit on a 1″ wide collar but it did! It looks great and the pink is so nice looking too. If I change collars it will be very easy to remove this instead of having to remove all the tags individually. I also like the way that I can turn Bailey’s collar around so the ugly excess collar doesn’t show. She’s a small but dainty German Shepherd, and requires a large length collar, but just barely. That means there’s a lot of extra collar fabric that ended up being too visible=ugly until I got the Cetacea Tag-It Pet ID Holder. Now I can turn the collar however I want to hide the bulk and can put the tags where they’re supposed to be, at the front of her neck). Kind of hard to explain but I’m very pleased, and of course so is she!

Stays on the collar securely
These seem to be hard to find! We got one several years ago for our labâs collar. Made it very handy to remove her tags before washing her collar, then putting them all back on. We did replace it with a pretty pink one. We have a smaller dog and have found it impossible to find on that will fit on her collar. Iâve been asked several times at the veterinarian office where we got this; kind of hoping they would find a way to stock them but no luck so far!

Easy & Quiet
Depending on how thick the collar (I have an 80lb Lab so the collars are rather large) the holder fits well, keeps the tags from making lots of noise, & makes it SO easy to put them on a different collar. I have one of the largest Lupine collars & it is a tight fit (I have to REALLY try to click it closed). But overall love it.

Love this tagit
This is my third tagit. I still have the other two but they are with my dogs ashes! This tag is very versatile, strong, easy to transfer from a collar to a harness. I just love it! Thank you

I have a Good Dog collar that I put on my dogs for …
I have a Good Dog collar that I put on my dogs for our twice daily walk and I take their regular collar off for this. I don’t like the idea of them not having their tags on even though they have a microchip, because too many people make assumptions when they see a dog with no tags and assume it’s homeless and rather than taking it to get scanned for a chip, they just keep the dog. In case anything ever happened and I was separated from my dogs, I’d like to make sure they have a tag on at all times. This Tag-It is perfect for that. Rather than keeping two sets of tags, I can just attach one set to this Tag-It and slip it on and off the different collars. It’s wonderful! The only improvement I could see is when someone, anyone!, invents a way to attach tags securely without those stupid round keychain clips. I get tired of breaking my nails and hurting my fingertips every year when it’s time to put on a new rabies tag or they get a new address tag.
