Our dog loves the ball but you have to watch because it can come apart if your dog likes to have it in his mouth and chews on it .

Works good! My dog would be more entertained if it could move faster and bounce higher though, stronger motor?

It’s my dog’s favorite toy. She loves when she leaves it somewhere and it’s gone when she comes back (moves by itself).
– Needs about 3 charges for a full day of playing
– Definitely doesn’t roll well on carpet (we’re on hardwood floors and it’s perfect)
– Will change direction if it bumps into obstacles while moving
– Blue mode is the best mode
My critique (but this is pretty new tech to my understanding, so this is like one of the first iteration of these): could use longer lasting battery, stronger motor, and less time interval between when it’s not moving and when it starts to move again.

Very durable but spends a lot of time on the charger
I was a little worried about spending so much on a toy for my dogs as they are both very aggressive chewers. I haven’t found a toy yet they can’t destroy, including Kongs and everything else listed as indestructible. But I am pleasantly surprised at how well these hold up and also that you can buy a replacement shell. That was the only reason I decided to take the chance on purchase a $40 ball. My dogs love them, but my Heeler tends to just “hold” it and won’t let my GSD play with it so I had to buy a second one. Although I don’t “allow” them to chew on these, sometimes they do and they are holding up surprisingly well. When you feel the material, it doesn’t seem like it would hold up to the picking and tearing that my dogs typically do to toys. But even when I catch them picking at it, I still do not see any missing chunks or marks. So I am pretty impressed.
No, I know the description says you get 1-3.5 hours out of one charge and in my experience it has actually been a bit longer. But I am finding it a little bit annoying that I am constantly having to put this on the charger because my dogs like to play with it. This is just something I didn’t really think about when I purchased them that you might consider. I wish it held a charge for longer.
