cute, but a bit small for little hands
The pieces offer a lot of variety and are great for sparking my child’s creativity. I can see how they help with cognitive and motor skills development, and my little one enjoys stacking and building with them. The blocks are quite small.

MIsleading ad. These are super small and not magnetic
Childlike Behavior 24 piece wooden block travel set is very tiny. The ad here is misleading, unfortunately.Here is what is accurate and true: These are made of solid wood with smooth edges. These are designed for travel as they are extremely small and come in a tin with a tight fitting lid.Here’s the bit where the ad is way off: “attracts baby’s attention”-PLEASE do not give this toy to any baby. For ages 3+ due to obvious choking hazard. “Large”- does not describe the size of blocks, nor the size of this set. I would describe these as; “a small set of tiny, wooden shaped blocks that are miniature/travel sized”. “Promotes social interaction” – there are barely enough in this set for a single child, let alone promote social time or sharing.The biggest problem with the ad is the word; “magnetic”- I have a massive collection of magnetic blocks for Pre-K including a good sized collection of magnetic wooden Tegu blocks. I hoped these would compliment those sets and add to my beautiful wooden blocks. These have ZERO magnetism with nothing imbedded in the wood. These are simple wooden shapes.These are miniature wooden shape blocks in; natural color, white, gray and black stored in a metal tin for travel purposes.

Nice, but…
The Childlike Behavior Wooden Blocks are made from genuine, grained wood; are smoothly finished, and nicely painted. The set comes packed in a metal box that should hold up for a long while. However, as a toy to be shared by children and their elders, they are disappointing.They are too small for young children. The largest is 3/4”x3/4”x1-1/4”; the smallest are 3/4”x3/4”x3/4” and 3/4”x1/4”x1-1/4” (both small enough to be “mouthed”). They are also too unstable to be easily stacked up by not-yet-very-coordinated children and/or palsied hands of the older generation.I could not detect even the slightest magnetism in any of the blocks. Thinking that perhaps the attraction was too weak BETWEEN blocks, I used a strong workshop magnet and moved it among the wooden pieces. Nope. The only thing the magnet attracted was the metal container. Perhaps the “magnetic” label is a case of Chinese mis-translation? (I don’t know what could explain the product photo that shows the “force” passing between blocks, except maybe false advertising?)“Games for trip” is printed on the container. Perhaps, if referring to playing in a hotel room. But the blocks are difficult for an adult (me) to pile up without knocking some off. In a car, plane or train? No way.The set was a nice idea, but in my opinion, it doesn’t work. I ordered these for a young child’s gift; it will go to my local thrift store instead.A label on the container lists the company, S & B Product Group, in Austin, TX and labels the product as “Made in CHINA”. The online Amazon Detailer Seller Information states an address in Belfast, N Island.

Way too small for young children
These blocks are much smaller than what they appear in the photos listed. Young children would definitely have problems trying to build with these because of how small they are. Even I as an adult struggle because of how flimsy they are. They are not magnetic whatsoever which is very disappointing because I know my son would have loved them! The photos are very misleading and small pieces can cause problems as they are small enough to risk hazard being put in a child’s mouth. They are very cute blocks but I definitely did not get what I was expecting. Overall I am not happy with this product.
