My cats loved the lizard catnip toys. The were a fun purchase. Just not durable in a home with multiple pets they get destroyed fast. I would buy again my cats had fun but they got tore apart.

realistic size, long tail
My cat loves these lizards. They are a soft light felt or flannel like fabric, soft and has catnip inside. Easy to chew. My cat loves the tail, of course and I will find it moved he e and there, since my cat picks it up, attacks. and carries it. The fabric is holding up OK… no holes from teeth, yet1

Cute, BUTâ¦
I find these toy lizards to be cute and fairly realistic looking. We have lots of alligator lizards in Southern California and in our yard, and my husband was unaware Iâd bought these for âour boysâ. He was genuinely startled to see one lying at the bottom of the stairs when he came down in the morning! My 10 month old male Tuxedo kittens, however, lost interest within a few minutes. However, All Cats are Different. After 54 years of being owned by them, I have learned their taste in toys differ. I donât think the catnip smell is strong, so I am thinking I will put them in a ziplock type bag with fresh catnip and let these lizards absorb more of the scent/taste, etc. Then weâll try them again. (Most catnip toys need refreshing, I think. These seem to be pretty well made, the stuffing just right, and depending on your own finicky feline, it could be a good purchase.

bigger than expected
i was looking fo some toy lizards as my cat loves bugs and lizards. these are larger than expected. but soft and catnip filled so some cats may enjoy them.

Dangerous
I’ve tried multiple times to write this review and it never gets posted. I do not recommend this toy at all! My cat bit the tail off the lizard toy. He swallowed it and it took a pricey emergency vet bill to get 6 inches of fabric pulled out of his stomach. It could have been way worse had this fabric tail got any further down his digestive tract. I have attached a photo of the fabric tail the ER vet got out of him. I’m so glad he’s ok.

Cats completely uninterested
I was hoping my cats would like these based on the reviews but they all just walk right passed them. Even when I try to get the kittens interested by moving them around a little, the most theyâll do is bat at it once or twice and then walk off. I think theyâre too big for them & too unrealistic.
