Fantastic for commuters
I take this with me on my hour long train ride to work. It’s nice to be able to collapse it down and just clip it to my backpack when I’m done. You would think that carrying around a thermos wouldn’t be an issue but you try fishing out a metro card or your phone while holding an umbrella and navigating around idiots that suddenly forget how to walk a soon as their in the metro. I also keep it in my purse with a few sashes of tea in it while I’m flying.

Amazing item. Smallest profile for how much liquid it holds. Love how small it collapses. This is ideal for taking on ocean cruises, and would be great for theme parks, camping, road trips etc. The heat sleeve works perfectly so you dont scorch your hands.One caveat.. I read some comments about these having a ‘rubbery’ smell or taste. I’ve used items in the past like this before. With these, I started out by boiling some water in the kettle and filling both cups to the brim. Once the water was cooled, I discarded it and repeated the process two more times.No weird smelling odor or tastes at all when I tried them out with coffee. No more lugging around huge travel mugs wherever I go!

For my scooter
I try to carry only what I need on my standing scooter. That being said, I had a cup that I couldn’t take to work because it didn’t fit in the small bag that is on the front of the scooter or my satchel. This particular cup fits perfect and I can also clip it to my back pack if need be and my collapsible straw clips to it as well. The bottom is thicker and a bit sturdier and stands well on its own. The built in sleeve when you extend the cup and slip it on, works perfectly fine. I use this for cold drinks, I don’t drink hot drinks often. As long as I keep the rim on and the cup sleeve, it seems pretty sturdy. No weird taste or anything. It is leak proof as far as I can tell. I filled the cup with a beverage and held it upside down with the lid closed firmly and it didn’t spill. I’ve also accidentally knocked it over on the counter and it didn’t spill…I can’t say what would happen if I ddr it on the floor from a high position…but so far, so good. It was a gift from about 1week ago and I’ve been using it ever since.

Great Mug
I purchased this cup primarily for kayak touring where I need durable, items that squeeze into small places. The mug is made of BPA free silicon and folds nicely into a small package. The top screws on tightly and has a solidly locking cover for the drinking hole. The thing I love about this is that the cozy ring designed to give you an insulated place to grab the cup also fits on the bottom of the mug to create a wider base making the mug more stable. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for leakproof and traveling is that, like any collapsing cup, it has the potential to collapse and spill. Thats the tradeoff for collabsibility into a small size. I am looking forward to using the mug this summer for 2 months in the British Columbian wilderness.

Leakproof! I added a few extra accessories to make a perfect travel companion!I added a blender ball and tri-fold spoon and fork. All fits inside the mug when it is compressed. Mug with my added accessories weighs 9.6 oz. I might also squeeze in a collapsible silicone straw!I did not notice any odor or odd taste.

Nearly perfect design
This cup is exactly what I was looking for. The sleeve eliminates the problem of having the soft silicone deform, and it still fold down to a small, portable size. The lid is leak proof enough for my needs. I probably wouldnât throw it a bag when itâs full of liquid, but jostling around in the car or while walking, itâs secure. Also, I trust it to not leak the few drops in my bag or pocket after finishing the drink. Lid and drink spout both have a good silicone seal. There is no opening on the lid to allow air in, but the silicone sucks in a bit as you sip and it isnât much of an issue. It holds the same amount as a standard coffee mug. I like it.

I bought this for plane trips. I go through TSA with it folded up and empty, then fill it with water from the water fountain near the gate. It works well for this purpose No spills, very tight closing lid. You can put carbonated beverages in there, and the lid contains it, BUT be careful when opening! Open away from your face, or anything else you don’t want to splash.Now for why only 4 stars. 1) The slide on ring that you use to hold the cup tends to slip off. I thing I slid it on far enough, but it would keep slipping off. Thanks to all my fellow travelers who noticed it falling off and warned me. 2) Maybe I was expecting too much, but it doesn’t keep hot drinks (coffee) hot for too very long. Same with cold drinks staying cold.
