Excellent for small puppy
I have a 3 month old yorkie who weights about 4.5 pounds and has a chest girth of about 12.5 inches. I tried a few other harnesses that were in his chest size range, but they didn’t quite fit right, or were a pain to put on, adjust, and take off. This harness is excellent and the X-small size fits nicely.Pros:- Only have to place puppies front legs through holes, wrap around him, stick velcro together, and clip. Super easy.- The harness is very soft and has great padding throughout. The arm holes and around the neck have a little rounded padding piece that runs around the circumference of the holes to keep it soft and from rubbing too much.- The harness doesn’t necessarily prevent your dog from pulling, but when he does he doesn’t hurt his little throat.- There are 2 D hooks to put the leash through which helps keep the leash from falling off from one side or the other and pulling the harness with it.- It is easy to hand wash and air dry.Cons:- It isn’t suffocating, but it probably could be a little more breathable. Not a big deal since I take it off of my dog every night.- The chest/neck area is a little big, but it doesn’t seem to hinder my dog from sleeping or moving in any position that he wants.If this harness ever becomes worn out, or he outgrows it, I will definitely be purchasing a replacement.

Recently repurchased because the old one that I got in 2018 was starting to feel a bit grimy. It was still in great condition, so quality is awesome. XS fits my 6 lb morky very comfortably, keeps him nice and warm and very secure on his retractable leash. We love it, thank you 🙂

Best harness so far for my Chihuahua (10lbs) size XS
The harness is almost perfect.I went up to the XSmall because little guy was right on the max for the girth in the XXS.It does fit well, except the lock straps are a bit “loose” (do not hug the withers), due to having to wrap the velco tighter than a larger dog would need .This does keep the strap from being a tight fit in case of latch failure or velcro failure, BUT the harness construct should keep it together enough to get dog and fix the harness. I also plan on using a collar with and attachment connecting all D rings when hiking for added safety and security).That out of the way, this harness is a keeper!My boy loves this harness, it encourages him to walk beside me when I reel him in for heel practice (i use a 10 ft lead to walk him).It encourages him to not strain forward and pull BUT does not dig into his shoulders or chest.He actually “smiled” for the first time walking- head up, mouth open and relaxed and eyes bright.I do recommend this harness as it does NOT choke the dog when he does strain at the leash, easy on and off, double D rings to hook leash into makes it comfortable for the dog and doesnt pull harness sideways.Velco is sturdy and tight, the stitching on harness is excellent, everything looks amazing.I’d like to get a second one exactly the same type or perhaps a similar design in the future from this company

Very nice harness, soft and easy to put on.
This is a great harness. We have bought 3 of them over the years for different size dogs. We always put these harnesses on our dogs when we travel and buckle them into the seatbelt system. Two weeks ago my husband totaled our SUV, and he had our 18 3/4 years old toy poodle with him. They are both fine. Our poodle had this harness in the x small size on, and was in her booster seat belted into our seatbelt system. This harness helped save our pups life. Please always harness and seatbelt your dogs in your vehicle. They are innocent and rely on us to keep them safe.

Our Maltese, Bailey, asked me to write this review for him, as his paws are too big to fit the keyboard, so here goes …. I’m a Bull Maltese, as I weigh 13 pounds and am bigger than most. This fits me quite well around the chest so Momma and Daddy do not pull on my neck when I want to wander off. It’s a good comfortable fit being padded. The Velcro strip and clip and the 2 rings add security. I already have a black harness and having white hair with my black eyes, nose and lips, I look real good in this one. The girls think I’m really cute. Well, Daddy bought me this blue one to wear when I ride around in the golf cart with them. Daddy put an eye ring on the seat frame and a short leash clipped to the rings. That way I can lie down but cannot jump out of the cart to chase something. My daddy protects me.

Nice material and color but sizing is weird
I like it BUT it’s very pricy, the sizing is kind of off…7 month old chi/terrier mix ~10lbs, measures 15″ girth, 11″ neck. I went with XS size according to sizing chart posted. The neck opening is almost too big but it works, however, the girth seems kind of tight; have to match the Velcro up so only about 3/4″ of the Velcro strips are actually together in order for it not to be too tight. I have to check the fit with my fingers to make sure it’s not too tight and cutting off circulation and also make sure the Velcro strips stay together since only a small portion of them can be matched up. I suspect if I’d selected the Small size, neck opening would have been WAY too big but girth might have been a better fit.If the girth portion were longer and the Velcro strips longer, the harness would be more adjustable allowing snugness when pup is small with room for expansion as the pup grows…that would much better justify the $20 cost of the harness. If I could sew, I’d just make one myself; alas, I can not/do not sew:(I do like the material, the bright blue colorEasy to Put on and Take off Small Dog Harnesses Our small Dog Harness Vest has padded Interior and Exterior Cushioning Ensuring your Dog is Snug and Comfortable ! and pup seems comfortable in it once I get it adjusted properly; it is also very easy to put on/take off.

Weâve gotten one before for our dog and she just outgrew it so we got the next size up. Itâs very comfortable for her and the built quality is very good. Yes it traps a lot of her hair on it and you have to clean the Velcro out once in a while but itâs such a good harness that we prefer this (and our dog enjoys wearing this) more than some of the very expensive harnesses out there like the Kong.

Smashing and what a relief!!!! Two small lively dogs that constantly slipped out their old harnesses. This design is great. No matter whether they are going backwards or what they don’t slip out of them. The colours are vibrant. Soft material , I was worried at first about Velcro ….. but needn’t have , as they’re great. I keep Velcro fastened when not in use to stop bit getting stuck to it and that msg impede it sticking. Christened them….on a rainy day, so they got dirty. Put through machine on hand wash cycle with Velcro fastened….. and all is good. Only had them now around a week. So will see how they go. But I’m so pleased with them.

best harness for a small dog i have come across,it looks very comfortable and i cant see it rubbing anywhere,it doesn’t pull on his neck,nor is it too long so it doesn’t fasten round his belly, its an excellent fit …and extremely easy to fasten., easy to wash, and looks very durable…it is very adjustable in case your dog loses/gains an inch or two…its also very adjustable, the leg holes are not too wide as some are,so they wont chafe when he is running, nor are they stupidly large as on some others,we have it for a VERY small chihuahua, so got xs, which on the smallest setting fits perfect,, most are too long/bulky …but not this one….seen a few reviews complaining about sizing, which is crazy, if you have a tape measure and MEASURE your dog, it WILL fit…..some on here moaning its too loose/tight, its got plenty of adjustment, so a bit of care and its great, the double D lead fittings are good and have a clasp also, its not an adjustment clasp its just a safety feature, so it doesnt need to adjust…….i am tempted to buy a spare but tbh, i think it will last a long long time……
