Durable, droppable, dishwasher safe
I’ve been using mine for years at this point, and I’m happily amazed it’s survived what I’ve put it through. I’ve dropped this thing from the top of my car onto concrete multiple times and it’s come away with just a scratch or two, and never popped open and spilled my coffee.The press to sip button on the spout is pretty comfortable and easy to use, so it doesn’t spill when unlocked; and when it’s locked, it stays that way. With that reliability it’s very easy to tote around in my work backpack or my car.I use it exclusively for hot beverages, and it does seem to keep it hot for 4-5 hours no problem, even if I leave it in a cold car. Then when I’m done, I can throw it in the dishwasher. The sip spout unlatches to make sure the lid gets clean without having to come apart into several pieces like some. Super convenient and super functional!

Too Good?
Can a product be too good? Too effective at its intended purpose? I think this one is.It’s sleek, professional, efficient, very easy to clean, fits my cup holder perfectly, and keeps my coffee hot for hours. No seriously, HOURS. It’s annoying. I make my coffee at 0530 as the final step before I walk out of the door for work. Sometimes work is busy at 0700 and I don’t have time to get to my coffee until 1000 or so. This has happened multiple times… and my coffee is STILL HOT. Almost as hot as when I made it. WTH? I mean, zero thermal loss? Really? I go to take a sip thinking “surely, it’s got to be room temperature by now. At least close to it” and boom, I’m shocked by how hot and perfect it sits but also angry at my arrogance for having almost burned myself by underestimating the exquisite feat of design and engineering of this marvel of modern achievement.I demand to know what sorcery is behind the creation of this item. This is messing with my reality. What executive approved this? What engineer chose its dimensions, wall thickness and steel type? Who designed the cap and pouring mechanism because they need a FKNG AWARD. They need to be publicly recognized for outstanding achievement in raising the bar for this seemingly insignificant yet profoundly important modern convenience of 1st world comfort.

Reliable tall mug!
Iâve been using the travel mug for my morning coffee for a couple months now, and itâs been a great addition to my routine. The insulation keeps my coffee hot for hours, which is essential when Iâm busy at work. The stainless steel is a big plus – my cabinets are full of mugs where the outer coating has started chipping away. Nothing to worry with these!The size is perfect for my cup holder, and cleanup is straightforward. While itâs not completely spill-proof if tipped over for a long time, itâs been reliable for everyday use. I do also wish that the and the lidâs locking mechanism was a little lower on the cup. It is a little awkward to hold it so high, but I got used to it. At least it seals well! Gives me peace of mind when tossing it into a bag

Best to go cup I’ve ever owned
Keeps my coffee hot and cold beverages cold long enough for me. This cup unlike others is REALLY spill proof. I’ve dropped it many times and it has a few dings in it, but has not effected it’s functionality. This my third Contigo of this style. If I don’t lose it I believe it will last me quite a few years.

Great sealable mug
This is a great mug for traveling with. The seal is super and allows you to put it in a bag without fear of leakage. Unlike the colored ones you can also put it in the dishwasher.

I’M SORRY FOR THE 5 STAR RATING. IT WAS BEFORE I REALIZED THAT THE LOCK DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY IT LEAKS TREMENDOUSLY. EVEN BEFORE I PURCHASED 2 MORE. BECAUSE I’D ORDERED THEM BEFORE I WOULD GET GREAT BECAUSE I DRINK HOT DRINKS. NOT FOR THEM TO SPILL ALL OVER MY WORK IN MY WORK BAG. BUT THE LAST 3 WERE HORRIBLE. PLEASE DON’T BUY. Only mug in the world that doesnât leak. I like to throw my mug in my bag and head to work. Never had these leak. Keeps cold fluids cold, and hot fluids hot for longer than u would need it too. Good value. They say dishwasher safe, which it is. But after some time the coloring will start to chip/peel off.

I lost my white mug like this one….LOVE these mugs…especially the locking button..easy for anyone to use. the snap tops are often too hard to open and close but the autodial is amazing. Keeps my tea hot for hours!

Daily use. Love that it locks so that I don’t have to worry about it leaking in my bag on the way to work. Keeps beverage decently warm but not as insulated as some heavy duty thermos ones but still for daily use at work its the perfect size. Sturdy. Only complaint is that it’s a bit tough to clean but that’s okay. I love it and will buy it again.
