This comment is what makes me sick and worry about people ‘unintentionally’ causing harm, hurt or injury while grooming their furbaby without EDUCATING themselves prior grooming!! This reviewer also mentioned that the blade is sharp and should not be used on the skin without a safeguard?!?!. 🤔 is she referring to the plastic attachments that snap onto the clipper to prevent it from cutting hair shorter than a certain length? 🤦🏻‍♀️ I used the adjustable metal blades perfectly fine on my fur-babies tummy and paws. DID SHE ALSO OIL THE BLADES? As I mentioned in my original review, the BLADES WILL GET HOT and YOU ALWAYS SHOULD frequently check them. My Maltipoo has wavy-curly hair when it grows out, while my Havapoo has thick, silky hair with an undercoat, as you can see in the attached photos.My groomer of 7 years was pursuing veterinary school, and after graduating, she secured a job in another state. While I am happy for her success, I am also sad to see her go and was nervous with such anxiety thinking of someone else touching my girls, especially after hearing grooming horror stories from others.Fortunately, my groomer was kind enough to offer to show me how to fully groom my girls before she moved. During the 3-month period before she relocated, Istarted a little at a time, purchasing professional quality grooming products, including: grooming table, clippers, scissors set, paw trimmer, a blow dryer, dremel for toenails and shampoo/conditioner and more.**Tip for quality shampoo & conditioner: Get a squeeze bottle, old shampoo bottle or similar; fill ¼ with shampoo/conditioner and the rest with water; shake and squirt it all over your pup! Diluting shampoo can help prevent skin irritation and unlock the full potential of the product especially concentrated. It’s sometimes more pricier but it last much longer BUT You should also avoid diluting shampoos that are designed to exfoliate or treat an itchy scalp.While purchasing the best tools for the job, I purchased a corded Andis ProClip AGC clipper and a cordless Wahl ARCO clipper. I specifically chose the same clippers as my groomer so that I would have a familiar starting point but…..⚠️***BEFORE USING*** Oiling your clipper blades is essential for maintaining their performance and efficiency. MAKE SURE YOU OIL YOUR BLADES. There’s a few ways you can apply oil: 1.) While the clippers are running, apply a small amount of oil to the blade.. 2.) 5-point method: Put three drops across the teeth and one drop on each back rail. 3.) Center drop: Put a single drop in the center of the blade on the cutting surface. 4.) Corners: Put a drop at the top corners of the blade. Then run the clippers run for a 10 seconds to spread the oil.Turn off the clippers and wipe away any excess oil with a clean cloth⚠️This is IMPORTANT – just like having oil in your vehicle to reduce friction that can wear down the blade, prevent your clippers from overheating (prevent burning yourself or furbaby) and help to keep them sharper longer. Before every groom, oil your blades. If you’re grooming multiple pups, oil the blades every 30 minutes but make sure you run the blade and wipe before you go back to grooming your furbaby.Always make sure you check and feel the blade to make sure it’s not hot.• PERFORMANCE: The clippers arrived with a pre-charge battrry of 60%. I really like the convenience of being able to charge the clippers while using them.I was amazed by the clippers’ efficiency in cutting through my Maltipoo’s dense, curly hair like butter. The performance exceeded my expectations, which made grab my phone to check the price of these clippers. I was just speechless.I must say, I genuinely prefer using these clippers over my other two expensive brands (Wahl & Andis) without any exaggeration. The adjustable blade is a nice feature as well as not all come with that.The blade is very easy to remove to clean and/or replace.• COMFORT: I found the clippers to be a perfect size, lightweight and ergonomically designed, making them comfortable to use without causing hand cramps and pain. As someone who suffers from neuropathy in my hands, this is particularly helpful for someone like myself.• CLEANING: while I’m grooming, I will go in to clean the blade a brush. Quality is excellent, battery life excellent. the ability to recharge in a short period of time excellent. Noise level very quiet very good value for the money works on long hair or short without any effort. Ergonomically comfortable and very easy to use even for a learner. I would definitely recommend this product.

Love it!! I have a non shedding dog and there’s the occasional matting and this thing just cut through it like butter! I read reviews before purchase and based on all the good reviews I decided to try it and I’m glad I did!It does feel very sturdy but the battery does die a little quick in my opinion, I love that it is rechargeable, doesn’t take long to charge up either. Definitely worth buying.

My long-haired cat was a mess and I had taken him to the vet for a shakedown. It was a little pricey and the use of an anesthetic, even a mild one, is risky. I invested in this kit thinking that I could take off a little at a time. These clippers are fast! In less than 20 minutes, we were halfway through his coat. I love the timer that tells me how much battery time is left and that the clippers are incredibly quiet. I highly recommend for any pet.
