Simple concept, but sooooo entertaining!
Our main objective for gift ideas this past Christmas for our youngest on the spectrum was, EVERYTHING SENSORY! For any parent with a kiddo who is a complete sensory seeker (especially when they tend to flock to water)ð , this water pad is a complete win! Itâs simple and fun to set up, and the kiddos find it wildly entertaining with all the glitter, beads, shapes etc. floating around!

I added gel package and water. Then add those sea creatures beads. My students just touching on the pad. Then there was a hole. Water leaked and wet the whole classroomâs floor. Only use 1 day.

I ordered this for my special needs 10 year old who needs a distraction when upset! It was fun for her as well as with her friends! The cards that come with it are a great added bonus!

Gel powder works, kind of messy, takes some time to get the air bubbles out.
Overall this is a great sensory bag. Pretty easy to use, just pop open the fill spout and add water (I used distilled since its cleaner and didn’t want mold in the bag overtime) and “half” of the gel powder. One tip though is that if it is watery, after putting the powder in, let the bag sit for a little and let gel build up. Don’t be like me and add more gel and then have to add more water just to get it to a “water bed” like consistency.The gel comes in this little tear package as well as the little dolphin sparkly confetti, which even though the spout is like 1 1/2″ inches wide it still makes a mess. So be prepared to clean up or end up finding little sparkly dolphins on the floor for months.The little toys are pretty cute though I wish they were a little more pronounced, some shapes are a bit difficult to see at first glance what they are, but overall they’re cute, could be a little bigger, but then it would be a challenge to get them in the bag….Bubbles, if you have a lot of bubble from mixing, be patient, and let the gel sit overnight. The bubbles will end up coming together enough that you can slightly open the spout and push the air out. Once the air is out the gel becomes noticeably clearer.
