This is a great tool
I have a small mini schnauzer with mega fur that is thick. This tool worked great on all size mats and was easy to use on a small dog. Tool is sturdy and strong, worth every penny. Removes mats quicklly without having to use scissors to finish the job.

Works great on medium/long hair cat!
I got the brush initially for my double coat short hair dog but didn’t work on him nor on my other 2 short hair cats BUT it works great on my medium/long hair cat. The brush takes out the hair without pulling on her and it’s easy to remove the hair on the comb. She is fussy and throws a hissy fit every time, but the comb makes the grooming process easy and fast. So easy on me, easy on her, easy time grooming her. BTW I cleaned up the mess before taking a picture, so no pics.

This deshedding tool is just what I needed for my fur babies! It really works! By the time I finish there is a pile of hair. Especially, my long haired fluff ball. They don’t seem to be bothered by it. They seem to enjoy it. They’re used to being brushed. It’s comfortable in my hand when using it. Very well made. Holding up well for my 2 cats.

Great for grooming
This brush works so well on my german shepherd and border collie with their long coats. Really helps ease matted fur out and help remove loose undercoat when shedding. Coat looks great!

I had a hard time using it on my Pomeranian without it just pulling at his hair. I found it worked best when I brushed him burst then used the deshedder. Then I tried it on my cat and it worked wonders! Got of tons of hair off of her. I was really surprised at how well it worked on the cat and it wasnât stressful for either of us!

I have a long hair cat and I never expected how much hair would come out in ONE pass. These also work great for shedding dogs of all coat lengths.

Not for long long hair
One of our dogs is a shih poo. This thing gets stuck in his curly hair, so we cant use it on him.Our daschund doesn’t shed a lot, but we can brush thru his hair with this just fine.It does OK with our german shepherds, but only ok. It gets full of hair quickly and you have to stop and clear it out and go again…..It’s only ok with them.Overall, it needs more depth to it (make the prongs longer so that it can hold hair long enough to really make the job go smoother and not take so long to get it done).

I NEEDED THIS BRUSH A LONG TIME AGO WHEN I SAY IT GETS ALL THE HAIR.. OLD AND NEW IT PULLS IT RIGHT ON OUT AND THE DODS DON’T HURT THEM AT ALL .. I DON’T KNOW TOO MANY ANIMALS WITH A LOT OF HAIR LIKE BEING BRUSHED LIKE THAT WE HAVE AN… LONG HAIR AKITA.. I bought this for my dogs and my big rottie does not mind! I get a lot of his short loose hair off of him, more than expected. My chihuahua mix, however, is afraid of it so I havenât been able to use it much on her. She has long hair and it did get caught on a couple of smalls matts. So good for short hair and for big dogs but not so good for long hair and small dogs is my experience.
