I got the 6-12 month and she’s a chunky 3 month old. It looks too big for her but I haven’t tried it on her yet and wanted to have room to grow. Its a great product, I like that it is lined with cotton, because we sleep with the A/C on.

Small a bit big for under 3 months. Nice padding/insultation, even if a bit harder to dry.
We have not had much luck getting our baby to sleep in his bassinet, probably because the pad is so firm. This sleep sack is like a wearable sleeping bag and offers a little ‘padding’ which seems to relax the baby enough that she will now occasionally fall asleep in the bassinet when wearing this. We don’t have to worry about it being too soft because it leaves an opening for her head and arms.The only thing about this which is a little counterintuitive to sleeping is that it leave the arms completely uncovered. It’s too ‘poofy’ to wrap a swaddle over. It would be nicer if the baby’s arms went into the sleep sack, more like a swaddle. Although the baby can kick freely because there is (way more than) ample space in the bottom … it does take away from the swaddle-type of comfort, which usually calms her when she is fussy. When she kicks and moves her arms, she doesn’t want to go to sleep, which this gives her the space to do. Given that after 4 months, it is recommended not to swaddle anymore because the baby can turn over, this likely won’t be too much of an issue towards the end of its usage.The material is nice and soft … it takes a little longer to dry than a normal outfit because it has some polyester ‘padding’ inside of it. The same is true if she spits up, spills something or has a leaky diaper. Because it has the ‘padding’ which can absorb more than a regular piece of cloth, you want to make sure you are cleaning this well. We normally try to use organic cotton where we can … and this is not organic, but given the design, we made an exception. The polyester padding inside isn’t necessarily fluffy … but it gives a little layer of padding and insulation and is perfect for crisp fall nights when we want to sit outside with the baby and watch the sun set. (If only the arms went inside though!)It seems a little loose for under 3 months, although the age range given is 0 – 6 months. I would say, unless you have a larger than normal baby, 3 – 6 months would be more realistic. It just seems a little big for a 2 month old, so we’ll probably hold off on putting her in it regularly until she turns 3 months, although she is little. The sizing is a bit weird … Small is 0 – 6 months, but we feel that’s a big range early on.Overall, this is a nice thing for fussy babies who are having issues sleeping in a crib or bassinet with a firm pad/mattress. The pattern isn’t our favorite, but nothing that would bother us too much. We find ourselves having different outfits to serve different purposes. We like this for the padding more than the insulation, although when we go into air conditioned buildings, like the doctor’s office, it’s often a bit cold for the baby, so this is great for that aspect and for the easy access it provides in terms of taking her in and out of it. I hope my honest review, after actually using the product, was helpful to you.

Ho-Ho-Ho? Great sleep sack! Questionable print choice.
Ok, maybe I’m a juvenile but I have to point this out: The woodland animal print has “HO” printed all over it. I did not realize this until I opened it, and I can’t unsee it. I can only assume this was meant to be a Christmas nod to Santa saying ho-ho-ho but it just looks ridiculous to me as it is not overtly holiday-themed. Does the print impact my rating? Not at all.All jokes aside, this is a great sleep sack and will keep my toddler nice and warm on our cold winter nights. It is surprisingly thick and similar to a sleeping bag in weight.Funny print but great quality!

Super nice quality, soft, warm, & cozy, true to size
Finding the right sleep sack for your baby can be a challenge as far as picking out the best weight and thickness, style, and size according to age and season. I have finally found the perfect fit that checks all boxes with this one. I love that it is cotton, breathable, and so soft and warm. The style and cut are ideal; enough room to move, yet still feel snug and safe. The weight is 2.5 TOG, perfect for the upcoming cooler/colder months. With the level of comfort and warmth provided, baby will have restful and peaceful nights (as will parents!). Made with quality materials, great workmanship, evenly-sewn stitching, and nicely finished edges. I have bought my fair share of sleep sacks, and is by far my favorite. The sweet floral design is lovely, too.The sleep sack has a mild stretch/give, and runs true to size. It washed great in machine on delicate and tumble-dry on low with no shrinkage, fading, or pilling. I am very pleased and would not hesitate to order this sleep sack again.
