Got this for my badge on my rolling backpack for work. Roll right up to the door and tug on the tag. String is nice and long and reaches the badge scanner. Nice and durable and not flimsy.

Perfect For my Job
I had a cheap one before I bought these and I work in a school with kids with Autism, so I donât like to wear a lanyard because it get in the way or I would be whacking students on accident. My old cheap one broke when I kid karate chopped it. I bought these hoping it would be better. AND IT REALLY WAS PERFECT! It has strength to take on my classroom and I love that it retracts so fast and it doesnât just hang. My boyfriend uses the other one but he works in an IRA company, but he says it works great for him there. They are a bit bulky, so youâd have to consider that, but it doesnât bother me at all.

I got tired of losing my screwdrivers and pliers out of my belt pouch so I tried these. They actually work better than the ones that I had before because the tension from the spring is a little bit higher. Also the string, or should I say cable, seems to me that it will hold up a lot longer than the nylon cord that was on my last ones. I feel like these may last a year year and a half maybe more.

Was pretty good for about 8 months but it broke where I expected it too, I thought the plastic housing was odd and if it were to break it would probably be there since there wasn’t any flex there for the clip.. it was good while it lasted but I’m gonna have to find another, probably not the same brand…
