Wonderful
This was vet recommended and we love it. After a little practice, we just dip our dogs paws in the container and then rub it in rather than the other way around. While not hygienic, itâs just her balm and itâs the easiest way we have found to apply it. I donât notice any smell and the quality is excellent. Her paws started improving pretty quickly. I would but it again.

Amazing Product
After reading multiple reviews, I decided to purchase this to see if it would help with the scaling and ridges that had developed on the top of the nose of our almost 9 year old yellow lab. As others have shared, within 4 days, her nose has completely cleared and the scales have completely disappeared. In an effort to minimize her licking the balm off after application, we time it so the balm is applied and my husband takes her out for her evening round of catch. A few minutes of distraction and she forgets to try and lick her nose. I recommend this product 1000%. Truly a miracle product.

Amazing Product- Excellent Results!
This product was amazing it relieved my dogs foot condition very quickly and he seems to love it when it is applied I believe it reduces his pain as evidenced by his calm behavior and he immediately stopped the constant licking of his paws. A secondary effect of this was improvement in his GI constitution, I believe that due to resolving the condition on his paws he was no longer licking them and ingesting yuk that was causing GI and joint pain issues. Highly Recommend this product!!!!

Miracle treatment for hyperkeratosis
Itâs Miraculous! Annie has digital hyperkeratosis and I have spent four years fighting the callouses and the discomfort. I bathe her every two weeks and soak her tootsies and then we cut off the excess growth on her pads and the callouses, too. I worried that as she ages, this may be what does her in and so I am desperate for a treatment. I saw Bio Balm mentioned on a blog and thought, gosh, itâs expensive, but if it saves us trips to the vet to have her feet dremmelled, if it saves her discomfort, if it helps at all, itâs worth it. I reluctantly tried it, not expecting any miracles. I put it on her feet twice a day for the first 3 weeks because they were pretty bad. The way I do it is when she is laying down, I dip her foot pad in the jar enough to get a bit on the pad, the i use the palm of my hand to massage it in. Then, I put a bit more on my index finger and thumb and massage some in below the nail beds and on the sides of her pads. I can feel the rough spots when I massage and this is where I apply extra. Itâs important especially at night, when she will be off her feet and this stuff has more chance to absorb. Within a couple weeks, her pads are soft. The callouses after 3 weeks still need more work so more balm is in the protocol til I can make the callouses gone, but it is better every day. Honestly, I never expected this to work so well, but itâs amazing. As a side note, I use booties when we go walking to try to avoid excess callouses. Her feet are soft and smooth and now we maintain by using nightly, once per day. It apparently does not taste great because she doesnât seem to lick it off, and that matters. It doesnât work if she licks it off, after all. I love this stuff and am a believer. If you just spend the $20 once, you will be a believer, too. Itâs cheaper and much easier on the dog not to have to take her in to the vet for this. She. Seems to enjoy her nightly foot massage. Who wouldnât? Try it. Youâll be amazed.

not impressed
After reading all the reviews, I was hoping for great results, but I was not impressed. This product is not bad and I like that it absorbs and moisturizes well, but I did not get the results that everyone here raves about. My dogs toes are still rough and still have the extra keratin buildup. This stuff makes it soft after I put it on, but it quickly rubs off and I have to reapply several times a day which means that this little jar doesn’t last at all and it’s a huge hassle. Overpriced for what it is. not going to reorder this as there are cheaper options that do the same thing.

I bought this as my dog has a very dry crusty nose. Within days it had made his nose so much better and everything is now back to normal. It also works well on hard skin on paws. The smell is quite strong but they don’t seem to mind it too much.

My dog had very bad elbows from being in the shelter, now is 3 weeks since I use it, and since day 1 is new hair growing and very soft skin. I really didn’t believe it was going to work.
