Superior to Summer Infant DuoMat and compatible with rear-facing Diono Radian
We previously had the Summer Infant DuoMat seat protectors for our Chicco infant carseat. When we had to move up in carseat size, we discovered those mats weren’t compatible with our Diono Radian because the fabric connecting the two portions of the mat were too wide for the feet of the detachable base when the Diono Radian is installed rear-facing. It turns our this was a blessing in disguise because the Diono Ultra Mat is a superior product. The material isn’t as cheap feeling, it secures to the seat much more easily (I’m talking about that weighted portion that you jam between the seat) and — best of all — there is an adjustable strap that secures the mat to the seat headrest, thereby preventing the mat from slipping down (and protecting our seats from energetic, kicking baby feet). The top portion of the Summer Infant DuoMat never stayed up so my son’s shoes could touch the seat. Like the Summer Infant DuoMat, the Diono Ultra Mat also has a little mesh bag that hangs below the car seat. We don’t store anything in it but the Diono mesh bag does seem bigger than the Summer Infant one.I wish we would have bought the Diono Ultra Mat initially.

We had a britax car seat cover which because of the way the diono car seat is made will not work. So the diono mat it is.I like this better than the britax. The non slip backing is better, the upper material seems better. I like that it has smaller storage pockets.The big plus over the britax, the britax is almost hard. It is a thicker material and while you might think that it will protect the car better, if you have anyone sit in the back seat with your baby/child getting to that other seatbelt latch may be a pain. As you have to try and lify up the corner of the stiff protector. This protector is more pliable, so you can easily lift up on the material to get to the seat belt latch.

Installed this to prevent extra wear & tear on my trucks rear seats, not just from work activity but from my sons car seat. Works great, very durable, easy to install, and looks nice too. Def worth the purchase.

This is actually our second one- cause we’re about to have another baby. When I tell you these things save your seats- believe me. Waterproof is great and all- these are. But these have saved the leather seats in my Subaru from the dents and cracks of having a car seat in the back full time.When they get dirty I throw the whole thing in the wash and it looks brand new again. I’m so glad to have been purchasing these from yall since the beginning! My oldest is almost three so that’s how long the first one has lasted and it’s still going!

Nuestra camioneta es una Dode Journey con asientos de piel y se estaban comenzando a marcar por las sillas. Estos protectores dan el ancho justo, así como el alto también, Evitan que el asiento se marque o que se manche con los líquidos que los niños pueden tirar. Excelente producto para cuidar el automóvil.Se instalan de manera muy sencilla, aparte el compartimiento para guardar objetos cuenta con el tamaño necesario para las pequeñas cosas que llevan los bebes.

I purchased one of these a few years ago from a small, local store just before we had our now two-year-old. It has survived very well over those years, though I can’t say we’ve tested it like we could have. The car seat mostly stays in the one car and isn’t removed very often. In the two years that we’ve been using the mat hasn’t worn out, torn or been damaged in any way. I don’t use the storage pockets at the front as I find it awkward to access. Though it is still in decent shape it is definitely showing signs of age and I’m concerned that the material will tear over the course of the next six months.We had another child a few months ago and I wanted to buy another mat before we had to install the car seat. Which mat did I buy? Obviously this one, or I wouldn’t be here reviewing it. This model is slightly different than the one I purchased previously but in only minor ways. One way, which I really like, is that the strap that goes around the headrest (which keeps the back of the protector from falling down) uses a side-release buckle instead of a metal slide buckle that just didn’t work as well. This new mat has only been in use for a few months so it’s hard to tell how it will last but if it lasts as well as my first one then I’ll be quite happy.

These are great – do exactly what they say so far, and I’ve had them for over a year and no issues what so ever.I’ve leased a car and have to return it with ‘reasonable wear and tear’ – so wasn’t sure if permanent indentations in the back seats caused by kids’ car seats would be covered by this.The rear seats in my last car were ruined because of the kids’ seats digging into them.So I decided to invest in these and am not disappointed. They are easy to fit, and cover practically the whole seat, including the bottom section which is prone to little muddy footprints and scuffs.They will fit most if not all cars, and make spills and mess easy to clean up as well.They have a little pocket at the bottom, but it is very small.I also bought the Diono Car Seat Back protector – it is great as before I had them the back of passenger seat got scuffed within about 3 seconds of tiny feet getting in the back.Highly recommended.There are no indentation marks on either side,
