As a PETA supporter, I can’t stand the harm that low-quality pet products cause to our babies. In 2017, we brought together 10 pet lovers to form YOPETAYU, the name is a combination of “PETA” and YOYU which is my first adopted stray dog. Like how brush retracts so easy to dispose cat hair without pulling hair off brush. Collects a lot of cat hair. Worked well on indoor cat that shed but hurt when hair was matted.

This brush is fantastic! Both my short hair dog and my long hair cat love it! And it works great for both! Itâs very easy to clean and wash. The only thing I would like is the handle to be a touch longer. Otherwise this is a great product!

Love this brush and so does our dog!
Our lab Rose loves it when I brush her with this brush. The bristles easily slide through her hair and don’t scratch her skin. I love that all her shedding hair gets caught up in the bristles and then I can retract the bristles and easily throw the hair away. The brush seems sturdy and is very easy to use.

A durability question
I had one of these for my long haired German Shepherd. He has since left us and the brush has not withstood the test of time and his long-ish coat. The bristles were good for his coat and the retractable bristles a great idea making the brush easier to clean. After a few times used the internal mechanism broke and the bristles would no longer retractable. So, I was left with cleaning it off manually.We have a new German Shepherd puppy and a new brush and I have used it on him. He seems to like it but we will see how long this one lasts.

I love that it’s self cleaning. The softer than metal bristles are a plus, they don’t hurt my dogs and so they don’t run so much from “spa day”.

Favourite brush I have purchased for my little guy and heâs 15!! Works great on short haired dogs, mine is a Jack Russell and it takes off the excess hair beautifully AND with a push of a button, all the hair comes right off. Highly recommend!
