Sturdy and secure
I donât have a dog but I do pet sitting for multiple dogs. My back seat was getting quite hairy and dirty when driving the dogs to take a walk or go on errands, so I started looking around for a seat cover, landing on this one.
I was pleasantly surprised when I removed it from the package because the material is thicker and more durable than I thought it would be, considering its low price. It feels water resistant, if not waterproof. I donât have an armrest in my 2019 Suburu Crosstrek and rarely have passengers, so I have no idea if the positioning is correct.
The cover fits the backseat & backrest of my car perfectly. You just clip the top straps around the headrests, tuck the sides under the seats (or at least I did), and let the fabric, that hangs down the front edge of the seats about 6â, hang freely. Thereâs been very little shifting of the cover when the dogs are in the back and I love the protection to my seats. I wish Iâd had it before the muddy footprints, but oh, well. I have it now.

Did not come with the pet seat belts pictured
I received the seat cover, which I intended to use in my SUV to protect the leather upholstery from my cats in their carrier.
While I use my SUV’s seat belt to strap the carrier in, I was curious to see if the pet seat belt would work for a harnessed cat, or to help secure the carrier more easily.
The cover itself was easy to install and stays in place. It is well-made and of a durable fabric. I only take my cats for a ride a couple of times a year (vet, groomer), but I think this would hold up well under regular use for small to medium dogs as well. I can also see it being useful to protect the car seats from water (heavy rain or some snow) or other messes for back seat passengers as well.

This spring we got a new aussie-poo puppy and decided quickly that we needed a seat cover for our Subaru Outback, so after reading several Amazon reviews, we chose the Yuntec Dog Car Seat Cover. So far, so GREAT!
So easy to install AND to unstall (trying to make that a real word). This is an important feature if all of a sudden you decide to carry passengers. The seat cover has easy access to seat belt connections, however sometimes people decide they don’t want to sit where the puppy had been sitting.
This seat cover has proved it is waterproof and has done a great job keeping puppy claws from scratching the leather seats.
Speaking of which, this seat cover blends in the Outback’s interior very nicely.
We are very satisfied with this seat cover. Recommend to all.

Durable, quality car cover
This is my second car cover after the first one was just not well made. This brand/model is excellent. First, it is very thick to protect the seats beneath it but not too stiff or inflexible. Second, it comes with seat anchors that fit inbetween the upper and lower portions of the car seats to hold the cover in place and prevent it from moving freely and flapping in the wind. It fits my 2020 subaru forester perfectly, designed to cover the front and sides of the backseat area as well. 10/10!

Easy installation and best fit
I bought this over 2 years ago, with the idea that if my dog were to have an accident in my car (for reference I have a Toyota Corolla) it wouldn’t be a problem. And you bet these have come in handy. The quality of it feels sturdy and offers the protection I needed from any liquids or dirt that can get in my car. It was super easy to put on and I appreciate that it wraps around the head rests. There are some anchors you can stick in-between the seats for extra security.
They are still going strong to this day.
