Excellent for dogs and cars
First of all, this product is much cheaper than the ones I see on IG all the time and it could not be better quality. It was easy to assemble and install. It protects and keeps my dogs in the back seat where they belong. Very sturdy and stable. Total protection for seats and doors. The whole family is happy with it, canines included.

Great Stability For My Golden Retriever
Ive used so many of these car covers but i LOVE this one with the cardboard inserts that make a much more stable base for my dog. Its tearing a little near the seatbelt slot but still useable.

Game Changer for traveling with our Lab
The best $100 bucks I’ve ever spent for traveling with our 60 pound lab. It provides a reasonably firm and steady platform for her to lay down comfortably. Before this was installed, she would go from the floor to the seat and try to get in the front seat. This eliminates all of that. I don’t know if it is something I’m doing wrong, or if the device doesn’t quite fit a Subaru back seat exactly right, but the base slips forward a bit, so the extension is not quite flat and droops down a bit. But it’s not a deal breaker. Our Frenchie shares the space with her and he is fine. The seat belt straps are not sturdy enough, so we used our own, but the velcro holes are big enough for the seat belt that holds the Frenchie is perfect. We don’t use one on the lab, as she is too big for us to figure out a good harness and belt arrangement that is comfortable for her. I love the screen that prevents the dogs from barging in the front seat, although the Frenchie does jump over it while getting him in and out, but stays put with his harness, and belt when driving. Overall this is a good product. It’s not perfect – therefore not a 5 rating. But I’m happy with it and it has honestly made our road trips much easier with the lab, who was constantly trying to get in the front, and get up and down from the floor to the seat as she dealt with car riding anxiety.

Sturdy bottom – extends the backseat!
I feel like I got a really great deal on this product. Itâs affordable, it has wood pieces that go across the backseat extending it maybe 10 to 12 inches or so. I donât have to worry about one of my dogs sliding onto the floor if you have to put on the brakes all of a sudden.Itâs very strong, itâs sturdy, itâs attractive and both of my dogs like it. The fabric is heavy duty, thick, and easy clean – you can wipe off or even machine wash.It fits well into my SUV. It will fit well into my husbandâs pick up truck also. I added dog beds for comfort. It has compartments for seatbelts to come through to buckle things in place.This is exactly what I was looking for! A quality backseat extender at a great price.I hope this review helps you decide if itâs right for you and your furry friend.

Zipper keeps unzipping
I was so excited to use this because it actually has a hard service where my dogs would be way more comfy then using that other one that doesn’t have the hard surface. I take my 25lbs Aussie with me to work everyday and I also put a nenor foam bed in there so he would feel more comfy. After a couple uses..I noticed his bed was falling to the floor. So when I stopped to check it, the zipper wasn’t together anymore so I thought it unzipped while I was taking his bed in and out. So I zipped it back up and then again and again it comes apart. So we basically have my dog falling into the back seat floor. I really wanted to like this product but I guess I just got a defect?

Great product
Love this product. My 60 lb Australian Shepherd is comfortable on it . Protects my car and helps prevent carpets from being covered in her hair. Also, protects the driver from her wanting to climb to the front seat. Easy to install and folds up nicely to store in trunk when not in use. Sturdy construction and a great value.

Sturdy but SLIPPERY fabric.
All in all, I would recommend this cover for the fit and the price, but with a few issues that buyers should be aware of. The fabric is slippery. First time my dog (50 pound Pyrenees/Husky/Hound mix) jumped in, she slid almost to the other side of the car. She definitely slips and slides when I am driving around. The listing says “oxford cloth” but it is more like a nylon/polyester fabric. I have a ’24 Subaru Outback Touring and the cover fits well. Easy to put together, except the 8 board pieces were a pain to slide into tight slots and will be a pain to take in and out to wash the cover, but doable. I am a little concerned that my dog will get a paw/claw pinched in between the boards? My plan is to purchase a rubber backed washable rug to put over the base of the cover to help with slipperiness and potential for pinching. Will also be easier to wash the rug, than to remove the whole cover and disassemble/assemble. My dog is a SHEDDER and loves to hike, so being able to wash the cover often is very important. The cover is a definite improvement from my regular, not platform style, seat cover. Love the mesh front for ventilation and being able to see my dog better. Agree with other reviewer that having a zipper on the door sides would be more convenient than having to attach strap to roof handle, but maybe more sturdy that way.

Bad quality stitches
The zipper falls apart due to poor quality stitching, and it’s not waterproof as advertised, given the visible stitches. The wood prevents my dog from falling and looks better than other brands. However, it’s tough to clean and set up due to the use of the velcro and many wooden pieces. I advise not removing the plastic around the wood for safety in case of an accident. Overall, I find it inconvenient and wouldn’t recommend it.

Fits an I20 Hyundai real well. However 3 months after installing it, the back stitching has come apart and ripped.It did stop sand and water from getting on my car however now that the back has come apart it does not. I did choose the more expensive option for a hard bottomed car seat protector so thought it would last a lot longer than the 3 months.Expensive for 3 months usage.
