I possibly researched every single hard bottom seat cover on Amazon. I got it on sale but I think it was worth full price! Iâve had both of my large labs using it at the same time and itâs been sturdy. I also love that the center mesh zips down to make it easier to access my pups. 10/10 purchase!

By far the cheapest hard bottom mat on AmaZam. Works well in my 22 fozzy and 24 ioniq 5. The front zipper popped out which is why I docked one start. Cooper and Ana prefer this to the hammocks. Grabbing one for the other car too.

Overall, setting up and functionality is there and checks all the boxes. Itâs nice not having dog hair all over my seats on long trips or errands now. Easy to clean as well. The straps are long enough to fit in both my sedan and my dadâs truck, so I like the versatility of it comfortably fitting in the back of different size cars/trucks. Easy to fold up and pack back into the case that has handles and makes it easy to lug around. The clips are sturdy, even with pressure put on it from the pups. No tearing or holes so far, so thatâs niceâdurability is there for sure.

So much better than hammock style covers
For having a dog:My dog always struggled with the hammock style covers because there wasn’t a flat, stable surface for her to stand on. This cover mostly fixes that! It creates a flat, stable surface she can stand or lie down on. She does slip around a little still, but I think that’s because she’s a dog in a moving car. And she does slip way less than when we used the hammock style. It is a bit slanted, but that’s because of the car seats. It does protect my seats! There are also side flaps you can hang up but I found those to be a hassle to unhook each time I let my dog out of the car. It is nice to have the option to use them though! I wish I had one of these when I first got my car. It’s also so easy to wipe/brush fur off of. The cloth, hammock style cover was impossible to get fur off of. This one is so easy to clean! Oh, and the boards can be taken out and the whole cover can just go in the washer. I’d recommend air drying it though.General/car campingIt also creates more usable space behind the front seats to put crates or groceries on. I have black seats and the all black cover matches great. It can be used across the whole back seat or folded so one of the seats is uncovered. It is strong enough to hold my weight and the flat surface is perfect for sleeping on during a road trip or while car camping (if you’re under 6ft). It’s easy to put on and take off, if you need to convert your backseat to regular seats again.Aaaand lastly – this is the mid price option at time of writing. There are others I saw that are far more expensive. This one is fantastic and less expensive than some of the others.

Sturdy!
We tried different styles of seat covers for our 90lbs GSD over the years and this one is by far my favorite. I love the hard bottom, it is sturdy. My dog gets nervous with hammock style as they do not feel solid and move a bit during travel but this one does not. The material is nice and thick, great cover for big dogs.
