QUIET, and well made
We use high end clippers for surgical prep and wound or hot spot clean up at my clinic. Also the occassional medical clip on animals with coats that have become heavily matted. The clippers we use are not made for thick, and long coats or heavily matted fur and can damage the motor of the clipper.After one more clipper burn out I started looking for a high quality clipper to use on our more challenging coats. Also to reduce the coat on heavy coated dogs before their proper pre-surgical shave a prep.The clipper itself is a nice weight. If you care about aesthetics the red color is very nice. It has a charging cable that is disconnected during use. One of the features that attracted me to this clipper. Nothing worse than being tethered to the wall, and having to move an uncooperative or non-ambulatory large dog or angry cat. It comes with a large number of combs that go over the clipper to lift the fur away from the skin and ensures that clipping length is as intended. The correct comb choice can also prevent nicks. There is a tiny brush that I forgot to prop in the photos that is used for cleaning the blades after use. There is also a charge indicator window. No more suprize shut down in the middle of a clip.The clipper is VERY quiet. A must when working with nervous animals easily triggered by loud sounds. The vibration is low. Another plus. The switch to control the clipper works smoothly and is easy to work.We will have to see how long a charge lasts. Typically it depends on how hard the clipper needs to work to get the job done. Thicker coat = faster battery drain. There is also a user manual.This kit comes with blunted scissors and a comb. As a Veterinarian I do not recommend that anybody who is not properly trained use a scissors to cut a pet’s fur or remove mats. Matting and tangles often put traction on the skin and cause unseen wrinkling resulting in nicks and cuts. And when pressure is released, what looked like a tiny nick is suddenly a large wound that requires a trip to the emergency room or primary care facility for stitches. Please be careful.Try using one of the clipper combs to get under the Matt first. If that is not possible, try breaking the Matt up with a Children’s Hair Detangling Spray that you can work in with your fingers, use the comb the break up the Matt at least into smaller sections. THEN slide the metal comb under the Matt and use it as a guard between your pet and the matted area. Use the clipper with the finest plastic comb attachment to remove the matt NOT the scissors.Save the scissors for trimming fringe, and PLEASE do not try to use the to edge your dog’s ears.Th clipper comes with a small oil =dropper for lubricating the blade after every use. You should purchase a product such as th clipper coolant I pictured to spray the clippers periodically during use. This product has many functions primarily to cool the clippers as they are used to prevent clipper burn, to clean the blades, and to lubricate after use.Helpful Hint: To prevent the clippers from heating up, and burning your pet check the temperature on the back of your bare hand by shutting of the clipper, and pressing the upper side of the blade against your hand. If out is getting very warm, give it a spray with coolant and allow it to cool down before continuing.Also you’ll need a standard Phillip’s Head Screw Driver to remove the clipper blade for thorough cleaning.If you are purchasing to save money by grooming your Doodle etc. at home, take your time. Remember the groomer studied and worked under an experience groomer for years to develop the skills to give your pet a safe and beautiful groom.Over all a nice set of clippers. Recommended.

Very Powerful and a lot quieter than my old dog clippers!
I’m really like these dog clippers! To test the clipper’s quality and performance, I first tried using them on my own hair, which resulted in a clean cut. This resulted in feeling more confident to use on my dogs, both of whom have thick, coarse fur. Of note, the clippers worked flawlessly, with no pulling of the fur, which can often cause irritation and anxiety for my dogs. Honestly, both dogs stayed relatively calm during while I was grooming them—quite the opposite of my experience a couple of years ago with a different set of clippers. Wow, having these clippers could have saved me lots of money! Back to the cut-the calmness of the dogs could be attributed to several factors, including their aging, their comfort around me, or the low noise level of these clippers. In retrospect, it appears that the 6500 RPM motor proved to be highly effective and exactly what I needed!Another standout feature that I have observed is the blade design. Compared to my old clippers, these have a more rounded design, making them easier to grip and maneuver. The cleverly designed light indicator is also a great addition—nothing is worse than the power cutting out in the middle of a grooming session. Getting my dogs to sit still for another hour is no easy task!Finally, the included accessories—different color-coded guards, scissors, a USB cable, and a comb—are useful. These extras made this grooming a much better experience than last time and again, the saving is going to be amazing!

Excellent cutting quality!!
The blade sharpness and cut quality is excellent!! You don’t have to go over the same areas repeatedly, once is enough. The guard attachments have a great assortment of sizes that fit well and can be removed or added easily. Charging is quick and battery life is very good! I did two full cuts and was only at 58% battery. Way better than expected!!!!
