Very well made!
This item fits both my dogs well. They are both within 55-60 lbs and I got the XXXL. For reference, one of my dogs is a pittie and the other is a boxer/border collie mix. The product is thick and well made. I feel like it will hold up well and the handles are also sturdy. My dogs were scared of it initially, so it is going to take some positive reinforcement training with it before they will be fully comfortable with me putting them in it and carrying them.

Bulky, lacks adjustability, not comfortable
A pretty bad implementation of the idea. It technically works and is actually quite sturdy, but with all the downsides I’m not sure I’m going to ever end up using it. I wanted something like this in case something happens during my hikes with my 70lb GSD and I have to carry him for the miles back to the car (apparently riding on my shoulders isn’t very comfortable for him) but this really isn’t fit for the purpose.It’s way too bulky. It’s a giant piece of oxford fabric (I’m not trying to turn my dog into luggage, this doesn’t need that level of abrasion resistance) with mesh inner lining that has tiny holes cut out for the dog’s legs. I struggle to get this thing into a normal sized backpack (nevermind the other stuff I might want to carry in there), so it’s not really portable, and neither is it a quick process to get the dog in and out of the thing because you’re dealing with sticking paws in each hole. Also not a good fit for my GSD even though he is on the lower end of the weight limit. Seems more intended for heavy dogs versus large dogs (I probably wouldn’t go over 60lbs for lean build dogs).I don’t know why they didn’t go with adjustable straps like pretty much every harness out there instead of cutting tiny holes in the fabric. It would’ve allowed for a proper fit for a much wider range of dogs and could’ve really cut down on the amount of material used to boot. It’s not even like it lacks straps, it’s got 4 going across the top to close up the top. The neck strap is also completely useless, but not removable. You’ve already got material going fully around all four legs, so I’m not sure what the neck strap is supposed to do except apparently choke a dog that’s the size of mine.Feels like they took a pattern intended for carrying 10-20lb toy breeds and just scaled it way up without considering the implications as ranges increase. For what it’s worth, it’s well made and I can carry my 70lb dog in it without anything breaking. It’s just not comfortable for him at all as not only is the harness not adjustable but the material has no stretch to it either. I’ll have to keep looking for my use case.

Helpful accessory for an older or injured fur baby.
Fortunately our fur baby is still young and injury free, but experience has taught us that as dogs age it can be difficult for them to do things they used to do such as get in the car or climb stairs. Even younger dogs might need assistance if they have an injury, which is unfortunately not uncommon for large, active dogs.I got this carrier in the hopes of never needing it, but wanted to have it available in case the need ever arises. It’s very sturdy and easily fits a 55lb labradoodle.The good:- Very sturdy and secure. I am confident that I can carry the dog or help her get in and out of the car or up stairs if the need arises. It did not seem to pinch or hurt her in any way. And if you have a male dog, there is a conveniently placed hole for their boy parts.- When used as a backpack, I also felt very confident carrying the dog and she also did not seem to be in any discomfort when I walked around with her this way. Note that it is hard to get the dog up onto your back without some help, so I would not expect to be able to do this by yourself.The not as good.- The shoulder straps are not detachable and there does not seem to be any good place to stow them if this is being used as a hand carrier. The straps are pretty large and substantial so they just get in the way if they are not being used.- The manufacturer did not include any instructions on how to use the carrier and while its generally obvious, there are a lot of buckles and straps that seem to be extra, or only used in certian configurations. So when I used it, there were buckles that were not used and straps that were not connected so I was not sure I was using it completely correctly or that my dog was as secure as possible in the carrier.- At the time of this review, there was a QR code on the package label that leads to their website. I hoped that would provide more info or a video on how to use it, but none of the website links worked so I was unable to get more information.Overall this is a good product that I hope never to have to use. It could use some design improvements and much better instructions for use, so I only gave it 4 stars.
