Clippers and file work great on cats! 😺
I started my cat off very young with a human toenail clipper, so she is used to getting her nails done and doesn’t argue too much about it. She even likes getting her nails filed! Alas, human nail clippers are not the best for a cat and it was time to get her her own clippers. I’m not used to such a large set, so I will need to get used to them, but my cat did not notice one difference! She sat there in my lap, like normal, and let me trim her nails. These work much better and don’t split the nails. The small file is a bonus, but now that her nails aren’t splitting, this may end up in my purse 😆. Now I’m wondering why I didn’t get these sooner! They are actually really well-made, especially for the price, so I was pleasantly surprised.

    Lock is too loose.
I like the design of the handle on these dog nail clippers. The curve at the end helps to hold and keep them stabilized on your hand. It also has some rubber grip to help prevent sliding. The file is redundant for me as it is hard enough to keep my dogs still long enough to clip. There is no way they would let me file. The clipper itself is sharp and clips well. What I didnt like was that every time I clipped a nail the locking mechanism would fall baking into the lock position. It is loose. I would have to stop and unlock it after each clip.

    A really great value
The Dog Nail Trimmers and Clippers are fantastic! They are really big, which makes them perfect for dogs but probably a bit too large for cats. The size ensures a firm grip and easy handling, especially for larger breeds.I absolutely love the safety guard feature. It gives me peace of mind by preventing over-cutting and ensuring my cat’s nails are trimmed safely and accurately. These trimmers are made with high-quality materials, making them durable and long-lasting. An added bonus is the nail file that comes with the set. It’s so good that I even use it for myself! It’s a great tool for smoothing out any rough edges after trimming.Overall, these trimmers and clippers are a must-have for any dog/cat owner. Can’t beat it for the price!

You get what you pay for
Cheap. That’s the summary. If you need something for a quick fix, sure you could use these. But the build itself is terrible to put it lightly. These managed to cut my dogs nails pretty quick on the first two paws, but quickly dulled the knife. The trimmer lock was loose so if I was holding these at an angle, they would lock on their own.The nail stopper is just…bad, dangerous even. Firstly, it’s curved so I can’t even tell you how many times I had to clear it because my dogs nail would get stuck under it. Second, it’s too short and leaves a small gap at the top that can be dangerous, because it leaves the possibility of someone slipping the dogs nail through there and having an accident.Would not recommend unless you’re experienced and just need a quick cheap fix.

    not bad
It does the trick, they aren’t the highest quality but for the price, I wouldn’t expect anything outrageous. Fast shipping

    Very nice
I am very happy with these nail clippers. The grip is excellent it fits comfortably in my hands. The protection guard is helpful to keep from cutting too close. The only thing I didn’t like is the lock, every clippers I have bought have these locks and they always get in the way and lock at the worst time. I usually end up tapping the lock so it doesn’t lock. Other than the lock they are great, l love them and highly recommend them.

    Don’t bother
I was so hoping to like these nail trimmers but they are definitely not worth it. Spend the money on more expensive ones and you’ll be happier. I have a pet rescue and my old ones died so I figured I’d give these a try, they are uncomfortable in your hand if you have a small hand the cutting blades are not as sharp as they make them sound. And the quick guide definitely gets in the way. I wouldn’t suggest these for anybody especially not a novice at trimming pet nails. If you are a novice get the ones with the LED lights so you can easily see the quick

    Quaity
My 3 Golden Retrievers have large, quick growing nails and I am always on the lookout for a better clipper that will make quick and tidy work of trimming. I do not like the clippers that have a length guard because I can decide how much nail to cut off and the guards will sometimes slip around which is frustrating. The covered handles are comfy and non-slip which is important if your dog is jumpy about nail trimming. The clippers feel sturdy in your hand. The file is useless for my dogs as it’s just a bit more than they care to tolerate after having nails clipped.
