Perfect for my mastiff/boxer mix
My Hercules isnât skittish about his nails being clipped but hates when I try to clean his paws which sucks because he likes to kick hind legs in grass after going potty and brings that dirt inside. Or he licks at his paws after potty breaks and I just donât like him being uncomfortable or itchy.I saw a tiktok with woman cleaning her dogâs paws with similar foam cleaner/silicone head dispenser and immediately came to Amazon to find. Found this set for less than some of the crazy foam prices on here and Herc actually allows me to clean his paws with it. He will even sit there and give me his other paw when finished with first. The rag is handy for wiping down after and I use the balm on his paws and nose after. All around a win for us.

Great clippers, not great cleaner
I love the clippers in this kit, the light on it, I had no idea I needed a clipper with a light on it, but it makes such a difference! The foam cleaner seems to be somewhat useless, it doesn’t really clean well at all.

I will preface this review by saying that I’ve been working with dogs and in the veterinary field for over 50 years. I currently have 4 small breed dogs but have raised and worked with large breed dogs in the past.This is a nice kit of basic necessities for any dog owner. It is not super high end, but gives you a lot of little things that are great to have on hand and you get them all for a lower price then buying them separately.The nail clippers are primarily for small to medium dogs and probably not strong enough for very large dogs but they will work on smaller ones just fine. The paw cleaner should have had the ingredients list put in the ad. It doesn’t have anything apparently harmful but I would use the little cloth provided to wipe off excess foam so the dogs don’t lick too much. The little brush on the end works well to scrub the foam into their pads and clean out any gunk from walks on the road.The balm will be good for winters when dogs are on icy sidewalks or encountering salt.The little clipper came slightly separated but I was able to snap it back together easily. It has a USC cord for charging (no adaptor) and a little brush for cleaning. It comes with a little bottle of oil and once you oil the blade, it works great for trimming paws, sanitary areas and small mats.All in all, this is a really nice little kit that covers the essentials at a low price.
