Durable and value
Was on the market for a durable toy for a large dog, suctionâs great to a smooth surface. Havenât tried it in the shower to bathe yet but excited to try it to help keep dog within boundaries. Comes with everything you need. Excited to see how long it will last but also enjoy that you can swap other toys to it.

My dog absolutely loves tugging with a rope, so I thought she might love this toy. However, without a human on the other end, it turns out she doesn’t love tugging as much as I thought. She only wants to tug with her humans, so I’m not sure how much use we’ll get out of the suction components.As for the design and quality, the big silver connector gets in the way a bit, but the suction is very strong against our tile. Releasing the pressure to disconnect it from the ground is easy as well. Not a bad toy if your dog doesn’t require the human component in tugging.

After reading the other reviews I thought this was exactly what I needed for my little chi-weenie. She believes she was put on this earth to play tug of war for hours each day. My shoulders feel like they have had all the trauma they can stand..lol I tried repeatedly to get the suction part to stick to my smooth vinyl floors and just never could get it to work for more than a couple of minutes.I donât know if mine was just a defective one or not. I have another appliance that utilizes the same type of suction device , the pumping and releasing , and it works wonderfully. So I know how to use it, but as I said even wetting it with a little water I still had no success.We have continued to use the ropes that it came with but it requires me to be on the other end of them, and that is what I was trying to avoid!I have noticed that others say it sticks really well to tile but I only have vinyl so that doesnât help me.Again maybe I just got a defective one, I donât know. It does seem like a quality product though and to be honest I have paid almost that much for just the tugging ropes in the past, so there is that.I appreciate you taking your time to read through this review and please let me know if it helped you to make a decision as to whether to purchase or not. Quality nice-Design not so much
The ropes that came with the toy are medium to heavy and made to play. The suction cup was extremely difficult to get to suction to my hardwood floors, but worth the effort. The biggest problem I have is the metal clamp holding the piece together that attaches the ropes (which is pliable plastic that connects the suction cup to where you attach the ropes). I opted to attach the ropes directly to that piece but noticed the metal clamp is positioned at the center so if your dog grabs the rope too close the dog might catch that metal clamp. I know my dog was playing hard and trying to get the rope close to the plastic piece (which is a loop). The carabiner option is almost as bad due to the carabiner is HUGE, heavy and metal. It dinged my hardwood and actually startled the dog. I wish this had worked like I pictured it would, but I think it may be a little dangerous. I did give the dog the ropes to play with and we tug like the rest of the toy was designed to do.

My dog likes it so far, but..
I haven’t found a good spot to suction it yet. Doesn’t stick to the wall, so I’ll try the tiled floor next as some people have suggested. The ropes are exactly the type my Boxweiler loves, so that’s a plus. I think the design is interesting and the first time I’ve seen such a thing. If I can get it to suction, I’ll update the review. I do think it’s a great idea and I just haven’t figured out the best spot for it. Right now I’m counting any problems I’m having on my end and would still recommend it.
