Customers say
Customers are satisfied with the idea of the food storage container. However, some find it difficult to move around the room and slide around on the floor. They also mention that the top spins too easily and doesn’t take enough effort for their pets. There are mixed opinions on functionality and durability.

Seems to work well
I read others reviews. They complain about the ability for the item to spin. Don’t they realize that there is an adjustment screw on the top that you can adjust the amount of effort needed for the pet to turn the device. I just got this item and it worked well. My groomer charges $17 to trim nails. This is only $15. So if I have to buy a new one each time it is still cheaper than groomer and much more fun for my dog.

Not so great, to easy
I purchased because it was suppose to help keep my puggles nails trimmed, she scratched on it at first but didn’t take to long before she knew how to get the treats, not much scratching but I think it is more of a simple treat dispenser, she enjoys her treats. Fun way to give treats anyway

Does not work
This thing has a number of pockets to put dog treats in and the idea is the dog will scratch at the top (which is covered in sandpaper) to rotate the top from compartment to compartment. This whole thing sits on the floor and the top will not rotate independently of the bottom – the whole thing just sits there and spins. The directions say you can add sand as a weight if this happens – that’s a laugh. The treat pockets are about 3/4 inch deep and the whole thing is about 1 1/4 inches high. There’s no way to add enough weight, given the limited space in the base, to keep the whole thing from spinning.I even tried using a large piece of double sided alien tape to try and keep it from spinning, still no luck.I saw someone posted a video with their dog happily spinning the top around and getting the treats. After looking at the product and the box it came in, I had my doubts. The only way this thing would work like the video is if you got a big piece of plywood and screwed the base to the plywood.Tried it for an hour and just frustrated my dog.I can’t return it fast enough.

Incredible product
I bought this because my dog doesn’t let strangers cut his nails and I’m too much of a chicken to cut them correctly. My dog has only used it for 10 minutes today, but it has filed his nails SIGNIFICANTLY. I am looking forward to see them after a week.To his credit, my dog already has a lot of puzzle toys so I knew he would like this. The sandpaper is very tough, and has done a great job. 10/10 product.

Not worth it.
There are probably others out there that have replacement filing paper. This one slides around the floor to much. After a couple uses the top sides around way to easily. My dogs figured out the could put their nose in the hole to move the top. Please keep in mind pet parents when you use a filing toy, you must check your dogs nails before and after. This is not meant for all the time use they can damage their nails. Some dogs use their paws differently which will not give you the even trim your used to with clippers.Great idea for a product and my dogs loved it. After a week of off and on use we had to use rubber bands to make the top harder to spin. The top wears out very fast. I do have two dogs using it one medium sized and the other large. It was very cool seeing my dogs problem solve. They got excited to use it. I will be buying another one with replacement but not this one. Possibly even a solving toy for them because this toy showed how much they liked figuring it out to get the treat.Photo a week after use and video first day of having it.

Great quality though it moves around a lot.
The quality is good and it works well! It does move around the room which is not ideal, so I have to hold it down, which is also not ideal. If there was suction cups on the bottom of a way to make it stick down on the ground then it would be perfect!! I think it could also be a little more difficult for my dog. The price could be a little cheaper but it is easy to use and durable.

Cockapoo approved!
One of our fur babies doesn’t like her paws touched. We got this hoping it would help shorten her nails. It has helped her so much!!! It gives her sensory input and now her paws aren’t a massive issue

Didnât last.
This works and holds just enough food for my dogs meal, however It is to easy to move. He could have it emptied in about three scratches so I have to make it more difficult to actually file his nails. The area by the opening was scratched smooth after maybe 3 uses. It was cheap and you get what you pay for.
