Nice Seat Belts BUT… Mis-Matched Hardware That’s Worn Upon Arrival
Reviewing: MingXpets Brand “Dog Seat Belt for car, 3 Piece Set Retractable Dog Car Harness 2 Pack Adjustable Seatbelt for Dog in car, Nylon Pet Safety Seat Belts Tether Heavy Duty and Reflective Dog car Leash, Black” (ASIN: B0DDPNB1PW)As I review my orders for the past few months, I see that almost everything was for my beautiful, 10-years “young” girl. While I’ve been replacing and/or upgrading her “belongings”, safety has also been a part of the process. I was happy to see this set of seat belts to try.They are as pictured for the most part. I had forgotten about the little bowl, so that was a nice surprise! If I can’t use it for my pup, I can use it for the cat.The belt bands of this set are strong. They are true bungees from what I could see. The buckles and hardware also look strong and sturdy for all practical purposes. All good there.The only “CONS” I had were:1. The hardware didn’t match itself. Some is darker, and some is silver. It looked like two separate sets of belts matched to make one. Maybe there’s a purpose to it? But if so, I didn’t see anything in the Product Information that specified why this might be the case, so that tended to downgrade the product a little.2. The silver-colored portions of the hardware were definitely worn already – like they’d been sitting out in the elements for a long while or perhaps that some chemical was spilled on them and destroyed the outer finish. It wasn’t pretty. I don’t know how they could have happened.However, when a company puts its name on something – which this company did, I’d think they’d want the product to reflect their “best”. And if this is their “best”, then… I feel an obligation to share it – not to expect polished hardware, but that yours, like mine, might possibly arrive somehow worn off.Other than that, they looked strong and very functional. I’ve been collecting items for a road trip we’re hoping to take this month, weather-permitting. And if not, then we’ll have these for Spring when we ever see the sun again!***************I gratefully received these MingXpets Dog Seat Belt attachments as a member of the Amazon Vine Voice program in exchange for my unbiased, honest review. I could certainly recommend these attachments, but I need to withdraw a star for the mis-matched hardware that also arrived with a defective finish. I would normally return such an item, but time is pressing, and I don’t know if we’ll be able to have anything else delivered before we might leave. Otherwise, I would definitely consider returning them, but I feel that the defective finish doesn’t necessarily impact the seat belt’s performance. So I will leave it at four stars, and let you decide for yourself. That is 4 Stars from us, and a grateful “Thank you.”

Good quality and keeps pet safe
I like having these in my cars because while I love my dogs, I don’t trust my dogs. One of the ties is made to put in the belt buckle. This is great for when you have a heavier dog that sometimes trips off the seat warning. The non-stop warning can be quite irritating.I really like the second one that is made to go over the headrest. This works great for my beagle to be able to move around. It seems to be his favorite tie down. What I REALLY like about the second one is that it ALSO has a belt buckle on it. It gives you options.The collapsable bowl is your standard bowl. There isn’t anything special about it but it is GREAT to take on hikes. I keep it in our car just for that.This set is well made, had options, and seems like a good value. I’m very pleased to have them and to keep my dogs contained.

Sturdy set belts for dogs
These feel strong and well-made, click securely into the seat belt holders in my car, and have good attachment points for harnesses. Good elastic on the bungee portion.
