Great product, even better price!!!
I am a volunteer for an animal rescue and I was asked to do a transport. I found out that NJ has laws to keep animals restrained in cars. My sister recommended a seat belt. I saw this one on Amazon and was surprised that the price was so good because one was $10 at PetSmart. I got it the next day also. I used it the other day to test it out with my two dogs who love to roam around the car and it kept them in place, but they were still able to lie down or sit up and move. You can adjust the harness also. Today I used it and it worked great in a 2 hour trip. I’m very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it. It attaches to their collar by a hook or you can attach it to a vest if your dog wears that. You snap it into the seat belt. Very easy and reliable so far.

Works great
This product is very easy to use. I clip it into the seatbelt buckle and the other end to a harness. My dog is younger, and I want to keep him still and keep him from falling forward if I have to hit the breaks for some reason. The tether is very easy to adjust so he has enough length to sit comfortably but it keeps him from being able to jump on floor or come up front. I have a bench seat in the back. I will see how well it works with a bucket seat when my new car gets here.

Secure Your Pet with the Duke & Dixie Dog Seat Belt
The seatbelt works as expected. I would have given five stars if I had been able to shorten it more than is possible. Right now it is a tad too long for keeping my Australian Shepherd puppy on the cars seat. He is able to move forward enough so that he drops off the back seat and cannot get back up. I moved him to the front passenger seat so that I can keep one hand on him:-). In about eight weeks the seat belt should be the right length. It is easy to use.

Got this for my 9 year old pom mix (20lbs) that gets excited and runs around the back seat- she was still able to run however she couldn’t get up front. She was secured but still had a little freedom. She didn’t unhook it. fits into my Honda CRV seatbelt without any problems, also fits her standard harness without any issues.

So we got this for our Husky puppy. We have had multiple dogs in the past and I was never concerned with them trying to get out through the window for our car.We did a bit of research on different ways to keep our new puppy safe.This was the first option we found that we liked and tested it out. We have used this every week since we’ve gotten it. I like that it comes in two, because we measured one for the backseat buckle and keep that one buckled in the back. And the 2nd one I tightened up for the front seat and it stays in my center console unless she rides with me alone.She’s a puller and has gone back and forth the backseat trying to get her head out the window as much as possible. The couple of months we have had these, and it’s never popped loose on us.Now when I bring my 100 pound lab mix with us, it is a bit difficult to keep her tangle free because he always seems to sit right where we buckle and she has no wiggle room. But he doesn’t come out very often.So my list of pros and cons!Pros: hasn’t come loose. Stays in place! Easy to use! It swivels so it never tangles in itself.Cons: not sure if it’s a good use for two or more dogs. My pup can get her leg wrapped in it… but it isn’t bad, just means her reach is shortened.Also! Take your leash off your dog if they like to go back and forth as much as mine. She had the leash completely wrapped around the tether. Took me a few minutes to get it unwrapped.I definitely say the pros way out weigh the cons, for a single pup house. Now if we get another husky I’m not sure what we will do! ð¤£

Absolutely worth it
I bought this for my 8 year old dog who was going on his first car ride and even on his first camping/hiking trip upstate. I attached it to his harness and then simply buckled him into my seat when we were ready to go. It extends quite a bit but adjusting it is very easy. It was very sturdy as we had to make a few quick stops thanks to the deer in the road and he stayed safely put and the dog seat belt held amazing. I definitely would recommend every pet parent get one especially if they have dogs who love car rides. For me it was an extra security blanket knowing he was just a tad bit safer as we drove a few hours to our campsite.
