Great
Works just as it should. Obviously, the plate is breakable, so be smart about where you put it, but overall a great quality product. I stopped buying silicon plates for my toddler because after a while they start to make everything taste like soap.

Chipped and broke in the microwave.
I really wanted to love these plates. I bought some from elk and friends, but returned them because I wanted the suction cups for the silicone. Then I found these. The look identical, but the plates seem cheaper. I was afraid they would chip easily and they do. Just had to throw away her breakfast because the plate chipped in the dishwasher and then cracked when I put it in the microwave. Iâll be ordering some elk and friends and hoping to follow up with the company about quality.Second set shattered in the microwave. Not microwave safe.

Really wanted to love these plates
I bought these plates and at first was SO impressed- they are sleek and the silicone sticks very well. But after about a month of use the plate cracked. I don’t put it in the dishwasher and microwave use is limited to about 20-30 second increments so I am not sure what would have caused the break but its not safe. It’s dangerous because the crack happens out of no where once the food is already on the plate and then I am worried to serve the food.Very sad about this as I do love the overall product but I am down to 1 plate and 4 silicone holders and won’t be re-purchasing 🙁

Clean, quality plates
These plates are everything you need for busy toddlers. My little loves to toss his plate when heâs finished. The weight of the ceramic plates keeps him from playing with them. The suction is perfect on a clean surface. They are easily cleaned in the dishwasher.I like that he eats off ceramic instead of plastic

Suction cups work great!
These plates are great! The sleeve fits nice on the porcelain plate, and it removes to be washed in the dishwasher. The suction cups are very strong and my toddler canât pick the plate up on his own. Iâve had these for a while and so far have not had any chips or cracks even with several times being thrown to the floor. They are durable and good quality! I love that they are porcelain because the silicone plates I was using left door tasting like plastic.

Better Options
I love using toddler plates with silicon bottoms. I recommend staying away from these. The suction cups had melted onto the plate when I unpackaged them. The seller was amazing about the situation and fixed it. I still donât like the suction cups on the bottom. I prefer the glass plates with silicon bottoms without the suction cups.

Nice plates!
Overall I like these plates for my son, they suction really well to his highchair. He has been able to get the plate itself out of the silicone cover and throw it but surprisingly he’s never broke one. However, I do not recommend putting them in the microwave, one of my plates cracked and broke in there.

Update: Second Set Fixed Problems
Update: Received a second set on 9/11/24. This set I give five stars. Silicone sleeve fits the plate snuggly. The plates themselves may be a tad bigger/taller? It also came packaged with a piece of styrofoam between the plates to prevent the suction cups from sticking and potentially tearing when separating. I really appreciate the company listening to customer feedback and improving the product and packaging!Original four star review: I donât usually purchase items with few reviews, but these were exactly what I was looking for to replace our silicone plates which absorb flavors and odors.The silicone sleeve is slightly loose, but you still need to peel it back to get the plate out. Wish it was a bit snugger though and that the entire bottom was silicone. That might make where the cups are attached a little sturdier. I had one of the suction cups rip on its edge when I removed it from the box. It was stuck on the plate below. It was small and did not affect the suction, which seems on par with the silicone plates we have. They donât move around too much on the high chair tray. Plate itself is nice and heavy and looked great after a cycle in the dishwasher.Not sure how well this will work once my son becomes a toddler, but at 8 months itâs great so far. Will probably order another set to have on hand.
