Very functional leash
I really like this leash. The bungee part is a right size. Not too long, not too short, just enough to absorb the sudden pulling, but keep your dog under control.

Note that there are several size, length and style variations in this listing. Iâm reviewing the 4 foot length, 1 inch width for medium and large dogs.For reference my dog is a 20 pound Jack Russell terrier mix. This version was just right for her. I wouldnât want any heavier or lighter for her, nor any shorter or longer. I would say itâs the best leash Iâve ever used, and I wouldnât want to be without it vs my old standard leash that was harder to use.I recently found that the standard leash I was using with my dog (just a plain standard, style about 5 feet long with a loop end) was not as easy to use as expected. I found myself making a loop down low to lead her with the leash, and it being really rough on my hands if she pulled on it. I knew I needed a different leash for her sake and to keep my hands safe and pain free. The edges of the standard, but nice, flat fabric leash were just too painful on my hands if I made a loop. This leash solves that problem and is much easier to use when I need closer handling during walking. You may still want to have a standard longer leash as well, but there are times you need to be able to have more control and this leash does that safely and comfortably.Whatâs good about this leash is that itâs not overly long (this one is 4 feet, some are 6 feet) and is not a retractable style (which can cause injuries during use, Iâve had some painful injuries from those and no longer use those). It has built in hand loops, a standard handle loop and one hand loop low on the leash for closer handling. Both loops are lightly padded and donât have rough or sharp edges. They donât feel sharp during use like a standard flat leash with sharp edges can. They are much easier on your hands during use. The quality of the materials and stitching is very good and itâs well finished, sturdy and should last a long time.There is also a center bungee like (covered) center area that gives a little when your dog pulls and absorbs shock for both you and your dog. My dog tends to pull a lot, so this was more comfortable for both of us. The clasp was strong, sturdy and easy to open, close and use and has 360 rotation. It has a metal ring on it for a tag or accessory on the leash (higher up on the leash). It also has a feature where you can use a vehicle safety seat belt on the leash. It also has some reflective stripes and details for visibility at night (Iâd suggest a reflective dog vest or harness for more reflectivity at night).No harness or collar comes with this, youâll need to provide your own. A harness we use and highly recommend as easy to use, adjust the fit, take on and off quickly is the Doggykingdom No Pull Dog Harness. Once you get it properly fitted and understand how to place it, itâs the best harness weâve ever used (and this is the best leash Iâve ever used). I really struggle to put a harness on our dog with most harnesses, this is the easiest one Iâve ever used. It was also very secure during use and it didnât allow our dog to pull on herself as much.No use instructions come with it, so you may want to save, print or refer to the listing pictures and details for some use tips and instructions.

I really like these leashes…
We have two high-energy dogs that love to pull you around the block on walks. We used to use the retractable leashes, but due to their strength a couple of those broke and the chase was on. I found this leash, and I really like it. With the double handle, I am able to keep better control of my doggo, and with the elastic portion I don’t feel like I’m choking her when we have a hard stop for another person/dog to walk by. The metal clips seem very well made, so I expect this leash to last a long time.

Impression of Strong Sturdy Materials; Useful 5.5ft Lenght w/Bungee; Handles Comfortable
Shipping, packaging: No issues, arrived timely.Materials used: Overall in our opinion the leash and its clips or metal parts all seemed of good or better quality than average, and could work with larger dogs. Our dog is a medium sized lab and we found its great for that. The Bungee portion: As seen in picture it is there, and mainly provides a little shock absorption which is nice. The bungee portion is not weak, allowing the leash to stretch out and get awkward or something, but we found it mainly helps when the dog jumps or tugs a bit.Length: The listing seemed to indicate the leash length could adjust from 4-6 ft. This we did not find possible, or a way to shorten the measured length we found, of about 5.5 ft. With the bungee portion there it may stretch a few more inches briefly (i.e. to 6ft) but it was not 4ft in length in any case. No instructions were included to show how such might be done, or to use the car seatbelt buckle, but it was easy enough to use the leash and even to buckle it into the car, no problem. (The attached car buckle clip snapped right in and worked well).

Really nice leash
I have an 80-pound dog who is a puller, and this leash has been great for us. I was initially resistant to trying the bungee type leashes, but after trying this one it has really helped my dog with his pulling. Because of the stretch he can’t abruptly hit the end of the leash and yank it. When he starts pulling the bungee section he can feel the tension and will back off – most of the time, as long as there’s not a squirrel. ;)It’s also just a solid and well-made leash. The handles are comfortable, the non-bungee sections of the leash are sturdy. It’s a good value for the price as well – we had a similar non-bungee leash with the traffic handle that was around the same price.

Great leash
This is a very well made leash. The rope/leash part is durable and strong, good for pulling dogs. I like that there is a second handle area for if you need to reign in your dog. The seat belt buckle works well too. Makes me feel better about my dog in the car in the event of a car accident, as many dogs are injured in car accidents due to not being restrained and flying about in the car during the accident. The reflective strip on the leash is great too for dusk or dawn walking. Good price, good quality.

Love the length. It is short enough to keep your dog close by but also can be long enough for them to do their business. The handle is padded and doesn’t hurt when tugged. The second loop is handy if you’re seated in a public space and you want to keep your dog from getting in others way. Feels very sturdy. Much better for dogs that pull than thinner leashes. D Ring is handy to attach your bags or anything else you need to carry. Nice option to directly connect to a seat belt in a car though I haven’t tried this just yet.
