Great tug toy
Update: Lately my dog loves this toy, we use it every time we go play with him in the yard. So, upgrading to 5 stars. Nice design and given that it’s been outside for a while, been exposed to very hot and cold weather, rain, etc. it’s held up perfectly. So, between the quality and durability and my dog getting excited to play with it definitely my thumbs up.
My dogs likes this toy and seems to get excited when he sees it. That said, getting into a tug of war with it isn’t natural. For example, with his frisbee he loves the chase and wants me to play tug with it before he lets go. He’s not a huge tugger. With this toy he doesn’t seem to know how to play with it… so this could just be my dog. When I throw it he likes to run after it and bring it back, for which he gets very enthusiastic. I will say that it’s built well, although the rope I could see wearing out with regular use. I like the color, it’s easy to spot in the grass and when the rope wears out I think the rubber part will be bouncy and I can use it to stuff other toys inside or improvise in that way. If your dog is a tugger this may be more natural for him/her.

The cord on this was poor quality IMO. Because it was done BY my dogs I felt it wasnât appropriate to return it. I took the knot out and moved it a little bit – hoping it doesnât break.
This literally happened in the first half hour of play.

Dogs love it
My dogs love this toy, but they love every toy. They have done quite a number on it so far. It is not very durable, they were able to chew the plastic/rubber piece off of the rope within a day. Of course they still play with the separated pieces, so I guess its two toys now. They’re not crazy strong chewers, just herding dogs that love to play, its rare that a toy holds up for very long in our house anyway. They have had quite a bit of fun with it. I don’t like to play tug of war with them because they are strong as hell, but they play tug with each other and this rope has been great as its long enough that they’re not both going for the same dangly bit and can get a good pull going between them.

Great for rug of war
My dogs go through toys so quickly. This one is fun and lasts. My dogs love fighting over this and getting in to a friendly game of tug of war. Itâs a nice bright orange so you can take it to the park with you and find it easily in the grass.

It’s Daisy approved!
We have an 85 lb boxer who is pretty rough on toys and is known to have destroyed some in minutes. This has held up well to her big teefers. It has a decent weight to it so it goes far when tossed. We haven’t left her with it unattended to see if she’ll chew it to bits because we don’t do that with her toys. But she has played with it daily for the last two weeks and it shows little wear. This one’s a winner!
