Just the right amount of traction is provided, and they are on to stay for the right amount of time. They do not touch the dog’s paw so there is no feeling for the dog. They will not be shooting off like a rubber band or falling off when wet.
❤️VETERINARIAN AND MECHANICAL ENGINEER DESIGNED. We improved on older designs that have issues with staying on or being accepted by your dog. Used by Vets and Pet Parents worldwide, as well as Vet Medical Schools and Rehab Clinics.
❤️GAME CHANGER FOR SENIOR DOG’S. Our “Life Changing” Dog Toe Treads have been a blessing for tens of thousands of dogs worldwide.
❤️LARGEST GRIP AREA OF TRACTION IN CONTACT WITH SURFACE. We use a food safe material, and our design provides more traction area that is in contact with the surface than any other dog traction toenail device.
❤️MOST RETURNS ARE FOR CHANGE OF SIZE. Just let us know what size fits better from the included other sizes in your kit, and we will ship right out to you the best size for your dog. No need to return your kit, we will ship out treads only to you.
Customers say
Customers find the toe grips easy to apply and provide good traction on hard surfaces for their pets. They help them improve mobility and confidence in walking on hard floors. The grip helps prevent slipping and falling. However, opinions differ on the product’s durability, value for money, and glue quality.

Works great, if your dog is cooperative or accustomed to having his paws handled
I bought this product looking for an âopen pawâ solution for my older golden retriever. He was having difficulty getting up on our hard floors and slipping while playing with his younger brother. We have been using Tiger Toes traction socks with great success, but was looking for an indoor outdoor alternative. The traction socks do give him great stability, but his paws need to be open to the air and if he goes outside, they are frequently wet.We decided to give this option a try and it does work. I had to make a couple of modifications, because we keep our dogs nails very short. I had to trim the nail covers from the back so that they didnât stick out so far in the front fully seated against the back of his nail. I also used four nail covers on his back paws as he tends to lay with his back legs behind him frog style. The two nail covers didnât give him enough traction because of how he lays, but the four work great.I will say that, unless you have a cooperative dog who is used to having his feet and nails handled, you may find some challenges with this. However, my dog is a working dog who is used to having his nails and feet handled on a weekly basis, so it was very easy for us to use. They are a little bit expensive, but no more so than the adhesive pad covers and so far our lasting much longer.

Excellent for aging dogs…
Our beloved American Bulldog, Annie, is now 11 and has been struggling to keep her feet together on our hard floors. She was slipping regularly and we didn’t know what to do. Then something terrible happened – she fell down our stairs after slipping and not being able to regain traction (we previously put carpet treads on for her, but she often steps on the bare areas at the front edge and sides of the steps). She injured her knee and hock, then would constantly re-strain it when she slipped on the floors. We started looking for something to help her with traction around the house so she wouldn’t keep reinjuring her leg. I didn’t know what was available, but figured other people must be having the same problem. We started trying different options – stick on pads, grippy socks/shoes, Dr. Buzby’s nail grips…. Nothing worked well because none of it stayed on very long. I was scared to leave her home alone, worried that the grip would fall off and she’d get hurt. We spent a lot trying to find a solution and then thankfully found these! I’m so relieved. They work great – as long as you follow instructions, they fit well and don’t cause any discomfort. They have now stayed on for about 4 weeks without any issues at all. She is so much more comfortable walking around our home! She hasn’t slipped on the floor or stairs, which means her injury is finally healing. She is more confident and clearly more comfortable. She is so much happier as her pain is improving now that she’s not straining to stay upright. I cannot recommend anything but these. They’ve been a miracle for us.Note: we purchased multiple sizes, not knowing which would fit and wanting to get them on her as quickly as possible. We didn’t need to though – each box comes with testers in a size larger and a size smaller than what you order so you can get the right fit. The return of the unused sizes was easy through Amazon. There are also many in the box, and since you only need two on each foot, there are enough for at least two change outs.

Additional traction for 3 legged dog
These work great for our 3 legged dog, providing increased traction on hard surfaces. We just need 2 on each foot and they typically need replacing every 7-10 days. Keeping the dogs nails trimmed appropriately is key and you may need more than one size. Our dog is very accepting of having his feet handled which makes putting these on very easy for me. But if your dog is not used to having feet handled, you may require a second set of hands to put them on the nails

Works until they fall off
Put these on my elderly lab who had issues with stability on hardwood flooring. They went on fine and did give increased traction at first. After the first day, 3 of the 8 I had installed were already missing. Under a week and all had fallen off. Didnât even bother putting on the remaining 12 that came in the pack. Seems trimming his claws helped more with stability than this product.

Overpriced and did not fit correctly
As suggested in the description, I ordered the XL size for my 85lb boxer mix. They are too big for his nails. The (1) size Large sample that is included is too small. To fit properly, the dogâs nails need to be a little on the long side, but because my dog has arthritis and drags his back paws, his nails are already short. They do look like they might work if they fit properly. However, the price is quite exorbitant for the product. It feels like more and more, pet owners are being taken advantage of because we love our animals and want them to be comfortable. $43 after tax for 24 small rubber pieces, Krazy glue and a dremel attachment? Amazon sells 45 piece dremel attachment kits for $14! You can buy a brand new dremel for $30. The bottle of Krazy glue is $3. Just tired of being taken advantage of because I love my dog.

Lifesaver for my senior doodle!
AWESOME PRODUCT!!!EASY PEASY INSTALL!!!45 DAY UPDATE. Got 40 days on rears & fronts are still working! These tend to be smaller in size than their weight guide. If your dog is not overweight & weighs 50-60lbs get the XL.My standard Doodle is 14yo & weighs 55lbs.The (L) was too small even though you can make them work with a struggle. The (XL) perfect fitment. If you follow the directions and just place glue through the hole on top, I find they are more prone to falling off. If I place glue inside the tread before applying it, it sticks REALLY well.He now just springs right up on my hard wood floors. He was starting to do the Bambi all sprawled out when trying to get up!Broke my heart, but not anymore.I highly recommend!

My elderly labradoodle has trouble getting up on our slippery floors. Grippy socks are great, but taking them on or off every time he goes outside is a huge pain. These claw covers work well for us. It took him a couple of days to learn to use them effectively, but heâs struggling far less now. One popped off and needed to be reglued the first day. Probably user error. You get a good supply of replacements in the box, and each claw cover has a small hole to put the glue in after the cover is on the claw. Simple process. Not traumatic. We donât go very far on walks anymore, so I have no idea about longevity or durability, but at this point, I would recommend this product.

My vet recommended these for my little guy to give him better traction on his rear legs that are suffering from subluxations of the patella. They glue on with crazy glue and stay on for quite a while. Best part is my little guy doesnât notice theyâre there but we do, as he has much better traction. Yes they are expensive for what they areâ¦but they work!

We have laminate flooring and this has immensely helped our dog from slipping all over the place. Stars taken off for removals processâquite tedious. Another star taken off for priceâquite expensive for what it actually is (small bits of rubber that needs to be changed approx every 4 weeks).
