Mighty Little Sound Machine!
I’ve been using this sound machine for two weeks and I can honestly say it is Fabulous! I mainly use it at my work/office; I’m a counselor at a private practice and this sound machine helps to block out distracting noises right outside of my office, as well as provide a peaceful and soothing vibe to the counseling space for the client; and myself. While there is a timer option (30, 60, 90 minutes), you actually don’t have to set any timer (you do this by hitting the timer button 3xs) and this small, but mighty noise machine will last for hours! Love that it only uses a USB for charging purposes; super convenient. And love how small it is and easy to pack up- great for taking it many places (especially when traveling). 100% satisfied with this purchase.

I have trouble staying asleep at night. I have 6 grandchildren, and each of them sleep with a sound machine. I decided to give this little one a try for me. The sound is good for the size of the unit. The controls are easy to manage (even in the dark). This will also be great for travel! I’m very glad I purchased it.

So little, but plenty of sound
I really like this tiny device. I really did want one more thing, but this is small itâs easy to find room for it. I like to hang it near my bedroom door to drown out the sounds from there in the other room. No more irritation about how loud the tv is. And if you set it on continuous play, it has no lights!

Tiny, Functional, PERFECT for travel
Was great for travel. Brought on a trip to the UK worked great. The sound stays on for about 2 hours I think but we were in dreamland by then. Not for people who need it to be on all night. Charge lasted about 2-3 nights

wish it had a constant setting to play throughout the night. otherwise good little thing i can take into bed with me and its super calming. blocks out most of the noise happening downstairs. Only thing is theres this one setting that plays “shhhhhhh” and its sups creepy lol

Dreamegg has a whole suite of similar sound/light/alarm products that have piqued my interest in the past so I was keen to try this liitle fella as an introduction to the companyâs products.It looks tiny in the Amazon description and wow is it ever! It arrives in a very small box, along with a charging cable, instructions, and a handy wrist strap which would help if you want to attach it to a stroller or other item. The colour in the description is called Cream but the box itself says Butter and Iâd say thatâs more accurate; itâs a lovely colour.This teeny little device is your friend. Simple silicone push buttons on the bottom will easily turn on the device (long press; it has a little raised dot on it so you can do it by feel) then short-press to cycle through the many sound options. The sound quality is surprisingly good. The volume up and down is controlled through the plus and minus buttons on the bottom, and, what I feel is the best feature about this, there is a timer feature!So you can choose your preferred sound (there are 16 options, including some baby ones) and let it run for 30, 60 or 90 minutes as you drift off to la-la land, or do your yoga poses, or maybe meditate. This timer is a fantastic feature for battery life. And, if you wish, if you ensure that none of the timer times are lit up/selected, it will run continuously. I usually leave it for 60 minutes but invariably I fall asleep before it stops.Iâve taken this for a weekend away and itâs super easy to pack and go. And it packs a lot of sound for the size. If youâre curious about Dreamegg products, this is an excellent entry point. I would definitely recommend this very portable white noise machine. Great sound, easy to take everywhere with you, and the price, which seems to vary by the colour, is a decent value.

I honestly wouldn’t have ever guessed that I would enjoy this sound machine so much. I think my favorite aspect about this device is how surprisingly good the sound quality is despite the incredibly small form factor of the device. This machine is basically the size of a golf ball but it somehow capable of outputting sounds at an incredibly high volume if desired. You can seriously crank it to it’s maximum setting and be able to drown out all external noises. In my opinion that is a very important trait for a good sound machine. And on the other hand you can also set the volume very low to the point of being whisper quiet. Regardless of what the sound level is at, I promise that the output sound does not ever appear tinny or distorted. It must be magical because it goes against my understanding of what is required to make a speaker sound good. Generally a speaker sounds better the larger the sealed enclosure is. However this device is miniscule so I honestly don’t understand how they did it. lol.I am not joking, this machine really is special. During the Thanksgiving that just occurred, I was playing the nighttime cricket sound for fun (which is probably my favorite) and I noticed that this machine is able to ‘throw it’s voice,’ for lack of a better term. In other words, the sound appears to be coming from somewhere it is not. And because of this lovely phenomenon, I invented a game to play with my family that incorporates it. The game is very similar to an Easter egg hunt, except there is only one egg and that egg is replaced with this sound machine. The machine is hidden by someone either indoors or outdoors with the cricket chirping sound on low. Everyone else needs to find the machine but it is a bit more challenging than it sounds due to the magical voice throwing ability that the device has.The machine itself feels very small and portable. I like the included strap because I tend to bring this device with me sometimes when I go for a walk or to go out and socialize. The device has a nice grip like texture to it which makes it easier to hold onto. The machine is also able to remain on for hours which is great. However, the louder the sound volume and the amount of time the battery lasts are both inversely proportional to one another. The good news is that this machine is able to remain on and produce sound while it is plugged in via USB-C. It also is built with a convenient sleep timer, which is obviously very useful for a device that is designed to help people get to and stay asleep.For the past 15 years or so I have slept almost every night with a fan running in the background to produce the ambient noise that I have grown accustomed to. I prefer the sound a fan makes because I find that it drowns out most other noises. Fortunately this device is able to produce a noise that is similar to the fan noise that I like. There are about a dozen different sounds preloaded onto the device. Half of them are what I would classify as nature sounds (including a lullaby or two), while the other half are more akin to white noise sounds. They are all decent and my tastes may change about which one I like the most as time goes on.I think the current price is quite good considering how much I have grown to like this product.

Overall a great compact travel noise machine for the price (currently $20 CAD). Would buy again.Body is a firm plastic with a matte rubberized finish, which is very pleasing in hand. Buttons on the bottom are raised rubber so you can feel them in the dark or without looking. Timer has 30 / 60 / 90 mins settings and is easy to use.Sound quality is decent for it’s size but not great compared to large versions of course. Considering it’s so tiny, it’s not bad and plenty loud. Decent variety of noise modes. Charges with USB-C input and includes a USB-A to USB-C cable. Battery life will last through a night but you should plan to charge it daily if you leave it on all night.
