On 07/20/24, I purchased the larger leash (up to 110lbs) for my two dogs: 10lb 18-month old Teddy Bear (Shitz Zu/Bischon Frise) and 20lb 9-year-old Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dauchaund). We walk our dogs twice a day: morning and evening. My household is now able to walk both of our dogs at the same time, which is a time saver and great for the dogs temperament. If we walked our Chiweenie first, our Teddy Bear puppy would whine and howl until we returned. OR, if we walked our Teddy Bear puppy first, our Chiweenie would have “accidents” in the house. This leash has saved my sanity because both dogs have stopped their respective negative behavior. The detachable LED light has been helpful during night walks and trying to find the droppings to pickup; our Chiweenie likes to go near bushes (imagine Easter Egg hunting at night) while our Teddy Bear likes to go on the asphalt. The handle is ergonomic heaven; my hand never hurts after holding the leash handle for long periods of time or when my dogs pull at the same time. I love that the temporary stop button feature is separate from the permanent stop switch; it helps me catch up to my dogs if I let them roam on a long leash. I also love that the leash separator is detachable so I can use the leash for walk one dog at a time (very rare, but happy to know I have the option). The only negative commentary I received from my husband was he did not like that the separator stretches, he worried about the length while walking around our previous apartment parking lot (they did not have sidewalks). But, I told him when he sees a car coming, retract the leash completely and hold the separator until the car passes. I also told him we can chop this up as bad training or lack of training on our part. If your dog is well trained and listens to commands you do not have to worry about this negative commentary. We have not used the provided poop bag holder because it is plastic. We have had bad experiences with plastic poop bag holders constantly breaking or falling apart. We decided to attach our metal poop bag holder to the handle by using a heavy-duty key ring and Carabiner key clip. And, to free our hands during walks, we attached a waste bag holder to the Carabiner since both of our dogs poop multiple times.

The leash itself me from having my hands damaged by pulling dogs. It helps said dogs actually go on walks.
