The concept of breastmilk bags is simple but the quality and design really does make a difference when you are storing your liquid gold! These are durable and most importantly leak proof. The design is great because the bag can stand on its own but also lays flat when freezing which is ideal for taking up less space in freezer.

I like these better than the momcozy bags. I don’t use the bag measurements when filling up I measure from a bottle and pour in, they store and travel well. As long as the zipper is dry and sealed they wont leak.

I thought that the information included with the bags is thorough and is worth a read to ensure you are following the user instructions correctly.Each disposable storage pouch is pre sterilised storage and has an incorporated label at the top to indicate the name, date, time and volume in the pouch. The storage bags have a double grip seal which is secure and therefore leak proof and the bags are made from a thick plastic (which is BPA and BPS free) which feels unlikely to burst or tear.The bags can hold up to 180ml of liquid and you are able to clearly see how much is in the bag. Due to the shape of the bag, they also have the ability to stand on their own making it easier to dispense the milk and they can also be stored upright or laid flat in the fridge and freezer. It is very important when storing the bags that you don’t overfill them and all the air is squeezed from the bag before sealing. This will avoid air contaminating the milk / food and prevent it from bursting.The opening of the storage bag at the top is also a decent size so you are less likely to spill those precious drops of milk so it is safe and hygienic. The label enables you to easily keep note of which bags to use first and stay organised but I do find that a permanent marker or biro is best for ensuring that the writing doesn’t smudge.Currently priced at £23.99 at the time of reviewing, I feel like this is a little high when comparing to other brands. I also found it a little awkward to cleanly dispense milk out of the bags compare to previously tested breast milk storage pouches. However, overall, the bags are still a very good product that feel durable and do their job at storing breast milk well, so I would be happy to recommend.
