Works as described
The medium one fits 2 adult sized shih tzus (not comfortably) but this is for emergency use only. We live in a 2 story house so this would be a great product to use to keep our dogs safe if we had to get to safety from the top floor. The rope it comes with looks strong enough to sustain their weight! The only thing I might upgrade is the carabiner for a bigger one that locks.

Peace of Mind for Pet Owners
I live in an upper level condo and some window exits are a far way down. Have a two story fire escape ladder, but I recently realized that I would no longer be able to carry my cats down since they are now full grown and weigh 12lbs each. I needed a bigger bag/carrier to get them down safety in case of an emergency. The bag is well made and the rope is plenty long enough. I tested it out to see if my two cats would fit and hold up inside the bag. The bag holds up fine with two 12lb adult cats in it. The only downside is that the opening is slightly small so it took a few seconds to get both of them in it….but overall provides some peace of mind knowing I can get them down safely too.

Great product
This is sturdy, easy to use (or so it appears, I haven’t had to yet thank goodness) and great price. I bought one for me and for each of my children when they bought homes of their own that had 2nd floors. Honestly, I’d even use it on a single floor home as it’s large enough to put multiple small / med size animals which may be better than trying to capture/carry each individually.

Hope to Never Use It *and* Straps are Different Than Pictures
Seems to be made of sturdy nylon. Straps are 2 separate ones on top (where you latch the rope) w/ backpack type straps on the back. Pic on Amazon showed just one top strap.Bought a medium for my corgi mix. Too small for her to stand in, plenty of head room. Will have to return for a large.

Great âIn Case of Emergencyâ Purchase
I live in a three-story house. The primary bedroom is on the top floor. I have an 80 pound dog, a 13 pound cat, and a 45 pound child. While we have an escape ladder for the adults, this is incredibly handy to have for the pets and our son. Thankfully, weâve not had to use it, but we have practiced with it. I can tell you it will certainly hold our 80 lbs dog with some room to spare. I donât know that my six year old could climb down the ladder safely, but we could definitely lower him down in this. Itâs an excellent purchase for peace of mind. Hopefully you never need it, but itâs a real lifesaver if you do.

what a great invention, never seen before but thought i want one for my spaniels safety – item arrived earlier than expected and was very good quality and product gives me a lot of peace of mind – there are 2 uses for this as well. if the worst happened you would easiy be able to save your pet with this and i would also think that small children would also be safe in this product, then you could use the rope and save yourself as well.some inventions and ideas are so good, which this product is

As a firefighter I recommend this device to lower your children or your pets down from a second story or 3rd story if you have time and the conditions are correct for this evacuation Practice a safe home evacuation plan

Fits my heavy Olde English Bulldogge in this and it came with the safety rope, so very happy with that! I would say however that there is sadly no attachment on the bag for the safety rope to securely attach to. It would need to be attached to the handle straps. Overall happy though! Feel better knowing there is a further safety precaution on place for my fur baby for the worst case scenario
