This wonderful doggy care set was a special gift from Aunty Sumaya, who loves to pamper our pups with treats and toys. This time, though, she surprised us with some luxurious self-care products for the dogs. Maybe she was dropping a hint that they were getting a bit stinky since we do tend to slack off on their bath schedule sometimes.Now, letâs get to the review. We typically take our dogs to a professional groomer for their baths, but since receiving this set, we havenât needed to! If you are hoping to get deep, down mud out of your dog’s coat after he took a swim in the farm pond, this is probably not the right product.But, not all dogs get as dirty as others – lifestyle has a lot to do with how much of a deep-clean you need.This Dogtopiaâs hydrating shampoo is designed to: restore moisture and provide a welcome relief to itchy skin for pets at bath time. If that’s what you are seeking, you will likely be highly satisfied with this shampoo.The scent is pleasant.When we have a dirty dog (and since we have working dogs, they get that way) we like to use a tearless product on their head and face and a more intense cleaner on their body. I didn’t want to love it…but I do
When I saw the price of this shampoo and conditioner I wanted to find a reason to hate it. I have used tropiclean for years on my dogs without issue but I thought I’d give this a try. It was an unfortunate choice as I will never go back now. This shampoo and condition left my medium length dogs soft and shiney and smelling oh so fresh. A couple hours after their baths and they looked like they had been blown out after even though I had just let them air dry. No puffy frizzy coat, no wet dog smell lingering, just a light fresh scent and a shiny coat.

My dog has dry skin during the summer and gets very itchy. Also gets stinkier in the heat of summer. This shampoo and conditioner moisturized their skin and coat, smells great and gave them relief from their itchy skin.

Smells good
I used this for the first time on my litter of puppies who have become a little stinky. Iâm pleased with the results itâs mild enough to use straight out of the bottle, and made them smell delicious but only for a short time. It easily rinsed out, I found myself using much more than other brands to create a noticeable lather. My pups are black and therefore harder to clean. I would need at least a quarter cup to do my 60 lb adult dog. At 20$ a bottle Iâm not convinced itâs an economical purchase.

We wash our inside dogs every six weeks because too much causes their skin more issues. We have two large Rhodesian Ridgebacks totaling almost 180lbs of dog so we need A LOT of shampoo. They also have sensitive skin so it can be hit or miss when buying unknown brands.I am also very sensitive to smells and though the scent can be a little overpowering straight from the bottle, it doesnât linger too heavily on your pet. Itâs been a week since bath day and while I donât smell cherry blossoms, I do smell clean dog.I would post a picture of my dogs during bath time, but since they think they are being waterboarded and we donât love them anymore, I will refrain from posting publicly the photos of them at their most vulnerable. ðð

This shampoo laters up well, smells amazing, and works extremely well at getting rid of that wet dog smell.It left them super soft and shiny.*Some of my dogs have SUPER sensitive skin so I was worried about this shampoo at first. I rarely change their routine because of this. I have found a new favorite shampoo. It didnât irritate them at all and I really canât emphasize the NO WET DOG SMELL.**pictured are two of the stinky beasts this helps cleanâ¦I joke of course, these guys are our childrenâ¦..which is why getting rid of the wet dog smell is a priority.
