Customers say
Customers find the animal harness useful for keeping their dogs safe while traveling in the car. They appreciate its sturdiness, which keeps them securely in place during long rides. The harness is easy to use and install, making it convenient for them. Many find it fits well, though opinions differ on the size, comfort, and how restricting it is.

Dog restraint
This works great in the car. Also attaches great to the leash. Keeps my Harper secure. She is not able to climb in the front seat. But is comfortable, adjusts easily. Is very light weight but strong.

Totally totally worth it!
Our Auggie is safe! He is a little curious and tends to wonder when we take him in car rides but he is not safe. He had to look for something that allows my daughter to take him by herself to the park and be safe. This is perfect! They both love to do that and this allows her to be safe as a new driver and take him in his favorite walks. This was the perfect solution! Thank you Amazon for having multiple vendors and making it possible for your customers to have so many options â¤ï¸

Decent belt, works with collars.
It was difficult from the item description to determine if the ‘seatbelt harness’ was actually a harness, or just the little bit they show in the lower picture. It’s just the little bit. I attached it to my Corgi’s collar and the rides went well. The picture attached shows the rather uncomfortable looking position my dog had to take up in order to lay down, even with the pillow to help.Pros: Kept the pup off my lap, which made driving a lot easier and safer, and reduce grumpy commands for him to lay down. With a pillow under him, my dog was able to lay down comfortably while wearing the seatbelt.Cons: Without the pillow he had to reach his head too far to lay down, and would be pulling against the belt (looked really uncomfortable.)It was difficult for my dog to lay down. Since it was a long road trip (over 6 days and about 3,000 miles), it was really important that he could be comfortable. This didn’t work out perfectly for him.Overall, I am glad I have it and the price is good. I think with a harness this item will be even more useful. My dog was safe, and I was safer without him hopping around and trying to get into my lap.My dog is 27 pounds, about 15″ high and 22″ long. Hopefully his size can help you decide about this product.

Great stability!
A lot of these are so long that they don’t hold onto my dog. He’s little (11lbs), so he needs to keep close to the seat. It doesn’t pull him down, as it’s attached to the middle of the seatbelt, and can slide freely. Definitely sturdy as well.

Too short for small dog to sit comfortably
It seems like a good quality product but it does not work for my toy poodle. He canât sit comfortably because the belt keeps him upright in his harness. If I were going to buy this I would buy the bigger one to allow the puppy to lay down while traveling

Great addition to my Kurgo belt restraint
I ordered this because I had an issue with the restraint/ tether that came with my Terrier’s Kurgo harness- the carabiner does not swivel. Now I LOVE the Kurgo harnesses because of the metal buckles but found that with the included restraint not swiveling, as my Terrier moved around in the back seat of the car, the restraint would get spun into itself. The result of that would be diminished movement for my pup and also made it EXTREMELY difficult for me to undo the restraint at the end of a trip. Now Kurgo does have a swiveling restraint which they call “swivel tether” but at $30 It’s not something I wanted to pay for considering this is the type of tether that should come with the harness to begin with. I did some research and found this swiveling restraint from EzyDog for I think $9 and bought it. I am familiar with their products as I have purchased an EzyDog backpack for my pup, I have a review for that backpack as well of you’d like to check it out.The EzyDog addition makes a difference of night and day. My Terrier can now move about freely without worry of the tether wrapping around itself and I no longer have an issue in removing the restraint at the end of a trip— this $9 was definitely worth it. The combined restraints are maybe 2-3 inches longer than I would like but I’m sure I can find a way to make a adjustment to rectify that. I’ll will try to upload a couple of pictures at a later time to show the length of the EzyDog restraint when compared to the size of a normal credit card.

Too short for comfort
Great idea – but it’s far too short once you thread the seat belt through the loop. I doesn’t give your dog any room change positions with ease. No even worth the $10.00

Not as functional as I would prefer
While this dog car restraint is very sturdy and appears well made, due to the fact it must be “slipped” over your seatbelt instead of having something akin to a hook that opens and clips around the seat belt, it is difficult to use having to slip the opening over the shoulder and lap belt “V” and secure to the seatbelt. Furthermore, while many seatbelt car restraints are too long, this one is TOO SHORT. It really doesn’t allow for your dog to even be able to shift much at all in the seat, in order to get comfortable. I would not purchase again, unless they added a hook or carabiner to it and either a slightly stretchy loop or a loop that is a bit longer.
