Fat Cat Crazy Circle with Catnip Ball Interactive Cat Toy

Best loved toy over last 8 years
It is now January 2, 2025, and just heard the ball rolling again! This toy was a winner from day one. First one bought in 2016 and bought another in 2019 ( because we started to spend a couple months in Canada every summer and wanted to keep our cat happy at both locations). Used almost every night (do not buy if you want to hear the ball rolling at 3 am).

Manx Cat likes the smaller version of this better.
My MANX CAT likes the smaller version of this toy better. I’m hoping that he will play with it in time so I’m choosing to keep it to find out.

This is a durable long lasting toy that my cat loves
I’ve got the small one (blue) to replace one I’ve had for almost a decade. It got stepped on by a human. This trackball toy gets my adult cat acting like a foolish kitten so I had to replace it. It has a tightly curved tubular design so the ball doesn’t come out simply from the cat playing with it unlike the newer varieties (green) that are more open and practically flat on the top and allows the ball to get easily plucked out by the cat and lost multiple times a day. That NEVER happened with this Crazy Circle Tube style track toy. She can also access the ball from the side or from the top. This gives her so many better angles of play, and she flops from laying about on her side to popping up and attacking from the top. sometimes she just shoves both paws in and bats the ball back and forth. Because it’s such a lightweight curved design, sometimes she’ll grab the whole thing and try to do a bunny kick on it. It’s hilarious. If I get video of it, I’ll add it to the review. One new feature, that the older variety didn’t have, is a ball that could hold catnip. so that was a bonus. My cat is about 5 lbs, adult and even thought the toy is “small” , she has a lot of fun with it and it doesn’t take up a lot of space ( meaning we aren’t likely to accidentally step on it again…) I’d recommend it, as even my larger adult boy cats will sometimes play with it too.

Cat plays with this for hours. And I mean, hours
Firstly, minor issue – the ball (designed to be taken apart so that you can put something like cat nip in) doesn’t seem to be that sturdy in terms of staying in one piece. Having said that, “my” cat doesn’t like cat nip so I glued it together. Unfortunately the glue didn’t hold and now I have half a ball (no idea where the other half went). Fortunately I have another of an appropriate size but the provided ball isn’t great. QI use “my” here, because I purchased this for a feral cat who has taken up residence in my garage. She’s about 10 months old and I purchased this on the recommendation of someone who has used it with ferals and I have to say, she adores it. I have a remote camera in the garage and I’ve seen her play with it for more than two hours in one session. I could wish it was a little larger in diameter (I did purchase the large) because despite still being officially a kitten she’s actually very large in length and she can’t really sit in the middle of it. She tries, but it’s not ideal.Product isn’t cheap but I highly recommend it for a cat to entertain itself – doesn’t need human input at all, except to sometimes rescue it from wherever it’s been pushed.

My cats love it. Came quick. It says small but it’s not “small.” I took a picture of it with a can of pop to scale. The inside hole is bigger than a can of pop.
