Great Dane approved for stuffie friend
This yellow duck toy is so adorable, and made even more so by the fact that my giant 185-lb. Great Dane carries it around as his new soothing friend. The crinkly wings and squeaker in the body help make this a favorite toy, and the rubber neck gives him somewhere to get a good grip. The cutest moment with this new stuffie friend was when he recently followed one of us into the bathroom and then suddenly really needed to get a drink out of the sink. I guess he was so relieved to get a drink that he forgot heâd dropped his duckie pal in the bathroom doorway. A few minutes after we got back into the living room and all settled in to watch some TV, he suddenly got up and started roaming around the house, looking on and under the furniture and eventually starting to whine a bit. He was so happy when I opened the bathroom door to show him his friend was OK. The toy is made well for aggressive chewers, but as they state in the information, thereâs no toy that is indestructable. I can vouch for that. I had expected this toy to be completely in pieces by now, several days after it arrived. But I think the combination of his affection for his new stuffie combined with good materials and construction have saved duckie so far. But I have no doubts that the seams between parts will give way in the not-too-distant future. Itâs just what Schmudtzie does, even to his BFFs. I just take anything past the first hour as bonus time with a new toy. Do note that the pineapple type material does give a toy some extra strength, in my experience. Schmudtz gives this one four Scooby paws up (yes, he can do that, when heâs lying on the couch, of course).

Dangerous large squeaker
This didnât last 2 days for my mini golden doodle. The squeaker was large and was easily removed and the stuffing was also a choking hazard.

This is a fun toy for our 27 pound poodle boy. He liked it immediately and enjoyed the crinkle portion, and he loves to use the squeaky. It’s easy to grasp for him because of the shape. He’ll toss it and ask us to pull a bit with him. It’s very cute! We’re happy with it and would suggest it. Or boy isn’t chewing it aggressively, so I’m not sure how it would hold up, but it’s fine for our little guy.

Sadly it didn’t last.
This is the cutest toy and since it was advertised for aggressive chewers I thought I’d give it a shot. I restricted it to my small golden doodle but it only lasted about 2 minutes before she had chewed off the foot and began taking out the stuffing. I really wanted this to be the toy that would last but it isn’t. If you’ve got a dog who carries around toys then this is so cute they would love it.
