I wouldn’t buy any other brand
Purchased 2 Flexi LED Lighting Systems to go on our Flexi small corded leash, I originally purchased 2 to have a back-up in case the 1st light went out, but once it was received I installed both lights (one on each side) of our leash. Sometimes we need one light and some times two lights is even better. Love the red flashing lights as well. We have, also, dropped the leash a couple of times since these were installed and the lights have not been damaged at all. They seem to be high quality and very convenient. They fit well onto the corded leash. I won’t waste money on any other leash.

This is great
I have two Flexi Vario retractable leashes that I really like. For a bit of added security I have the red led leash attachment that connects onto the dog’s collar. This attachment is different though and I really wanted it.This light attaches to the part of the leash that you hold in your hand. This led light has white lights in the front and red lights in the back. When pressing the buttons you can operate the different colors independently. With this light you can aim at what you want to see, which is more than where the dog is. The part that attaches at the dog’s collar lets me know where the dog is, this lets me see if there is a hole in front of me. Why carry a flashlight and a leash, when you can carry just one?If you have found this review to be helpful please click “yes” below so that taking the time to write these reviews is a helpful thing to do and I’m not just wasting my time. Thanks.

Garbage. Where to begin
Garbage. Where to begin? It attaches with velcro, which isn’t really a bad thing. It stays on well and sits flush. It’s clearly a tacked-on-afterthought. The real problem is with its primary objective–to serve as a flashlight. It’s dimmer than my I-phone, the controls were easy to bump and turn on accidentally (before they broke the first time my dog dragged his leash). It’s cheap plastic and dimmer than any light I’d consider buying. Use your phone, it’s easier, brighter, and more reliable. Or clip on a mini-flashlight from a reputable brand-for the same price-and enjoy a much better product.

Been through the ringer and still works like a champ
Been through the ringer and still works like a champ. People walking my dog are often surprised when he goes to chase a bird or another dog so they lose grip and drop our leash. This has also happen while running to a lake. So it has been dropped, scratched and submerged and its still working like new. It is very convenient when your dog likes to choose the darkest part of your walk to go poop so you need to go searching for it. It’s also great for those part of the walk with no street lamps when walking in the evening. I would recommend this attachment.

Nice extra light, but not quite bright enough to use alone. For dimly lit areas, not completely darkness.
I like this light. It has velcro to attach to the Flexi leash, and it fits right in. Design wise it’s a nice fit. I love that it has two lights in one, a bright 3 LED white light, and a 1 LED red light. The white light is more like headlights on a car and the red light which can blink or stay steady is like the taillights. It is very light, and uses only 2 AAA batteries. The lights are super bright, but they are good enough if you are just out and about in a dimly lit part of the neighbourhood, or just to illuminate your doggie’s droppings for pick up. Otherwise the lights are not quite bright enough to be used in very dark conditions. The batteries that came with the light lasted perhaps 2 weeks of daily use, at about 10-15 minutes a night. I would still use another light to actually walk or run with in very dark conditions.

Convenient, Good Purchase, but Watch Your Expectations on Quality
Worth the price for the convenience, but do not expect high-end materials. The LED flashlight is not strong enough to find a lost key in the dark, but gives off enough light to find poop, which I guess is the point. I walk my dog at the park and around my neighborhood, so do not have much use for the red light/flasher, but can see how an urban walker would like it. I love not having to carry a separate flashlight, so giving this 4 stars because it serves its purpose. I also bought the Vario system bag//treats holder, and I have to say that this is the best leash system I’ve ever had. One note before you attach the light system–be sure of which side you want it–I put it on the side closest to my body (I am right-handed), and wish I had placed it on the outer side instead. I recommend this for the convenience, it comes with everything you need to set up (including batteries), and the price is competitive on Amazon.

Awesome! We bought this item last summer and it …
Awesome! We bought this item last summer and it got us through the fall, winter, and now this spring. It has gotten wet, cold, popped off a couple times by the leash (our own fault) and hit the ground a few times, has been dragged (causing some well earned battle scars) and it is still going strong. It’s nice not having to carry a flashlight. We’ll definitely buy another if this one ever dies.Update: 3 years later and this light is still going strong. The leash has gotten tangled on it (our own fault) which just pulls it off the retractable leash holder and its fallen a few times, but is still going strong. Highly recommended!

Works great!
This little light works very well. I’m not sure what one reviewer was expecting, but the LEDs are plenty bright. So much so you wouldn’t want to look directly at the light; its blinding. So if you’re expecting this to take the place of a high powered flashlight, don’t get it. I bought this to aid in finding my pups #2 deposits at night, not to light my way on a walk. It works brilliantly for this purpose. Fits the leash well and looks great. Sorry for the sideways photos; you get the idea 😉
