Light weight and quality retractable leash
I had a retractable leash for several years before the cord broke. Before I ordered a replacement, I read a lot of reviews. When this one arrived, it was about half the size and weight and I was afraid it wouldn’t hold up. But it works better than my old one and I love the size and the quality.

Flexi leashes offer excellent design and functionality
These are so great! I had a Flexi leash for my dog years ago and later gave it away to a deserving rescue animal. This latest one I bought for my cat, and I love it that you can get these not only in different lengths but in different pull strengths, i.e. you can select the one that is perfect for your individual animal’s size and weight. Cats, especially, like having one that requires little pull strength on their part and lets them venture far out from you (e.g. 26 ft cord, small).The Flexi design is excellent and the mechanism and braking are very smooth. I’ve not tried the optional assessories of the LED lights and attachable treat/poop bag holder, but those seem like great design features, too.

I love this leash. It works very smoothly and easy in my little dog. I have smaller hands so it is very comfortable. I tried their classics model but it was too big. Would definitely buy another one. Very well made

Follow Flexi Directions
I had another Flexi for a larger dog and shouldâve gotten one of those instead of this smaller cord-like one. The warnings tell you not to grab the leash (cord) because of injuries including amputation. Theyâre not kidding! I absentmindedly instantly grabbed at it on a walk when my dog lunged toward a cat. I have a deep, permanent scar on my finger now that the injury healed. Just donât grab it!!In the future I may buy another that is for a larger dog, like the one I used to have that wasnât a cord but more like a wider tape. My old dog at 15 lbs used it for over a dozen years although made for a large dog (it was gifted from a friend whose pup passed and I didnât keep it once my old 18 year old dog passed). My new dog is less than 20 lbs; this smaller gauge leash/cord is dangerous for me. If you can REMEMBER to NOT grab it, youâll be fine! Good product, made well. Donât be a bonehead – follow directions! I may just use my old-fashioned regular leash for now.

Have been using it for 3 years and still going strong
First leash I got in 2019 before I got my dog. Dropped many times, dragged through the dirt yet still working perfectly. Small for my 19 pound beagle-terrier mix is perfect. Would buy again if this should at some point die.

The best dog leash ever! 8-year use!
This is the very best retractable leash! I bought one when my dog was born. And now heâs almost eight! The leash is still functioning well! Heâs an active yorkie. He loves running, pulling the leash and leading me to where he wants to go (not quite well-trained). This leash is durable, easy to hold, and secures my little athlete with me!I got this new one yesterday. And itâs lighter and more flexible than the old one. Love love it! Definitely recommend!

The picture showed a cord leader on a retractable tape. There was no leader but there was a choke collar, definitely not recommended for small dogs; it can cause irreversible damage to the trachea. As a manufacturer of dog leashes you should have been aware of this.The leash handle was too small for comfort, I could get only two fingers into the handle and I don’t have big hands. There is no room to attach the usual poop bag dispenser or for a light.

While I love this leash, I still hold that the price is crazy. I typically haven’t been a fan of retractable leashes as they often make for bad behaviour (at least, it makes owners really lazy and then you’ve got a strange dog in your face with the owner metres away). But this works really well for my 12 lb dachshund who dawdles on our walks. It allows me to keep (slowly) moving as she works through her sniffari. I like that the cord is just that – a cord, and not a flat ribbon like an old one I had. The lock and quick hold (just a tap/press on the button) is great and keeps my dog alert to me. Last detail I should add is that I often struggle to find leashes especially longer ones like this 8m that don’t come with a GIANT hook clip – I prefer the smaller clips as I think any excess weight bouncing around on the spine of a 12lb creature who’s breed is prone to back problems isn’t good. And this clip on the size Small is appropriate for her frame and strength. Again, price is a little high but I would still recommend.
