Game Changer
This is a game changer! Paired with a harness, walking doggo has never been easier.The leash offers great control while still fitting the hand well. This German-made unit operates smoothly, and is quite sturdy, as well. Dog and I have been out in a fair amount of weather.Additionally, the leash body can accommodate optional accessories: a small storage canister and an LED light. I don’t have need of these, but I’m certain that many dog walkers will appreciate such.I specifically chose the cord style lead over the tape style for a suburban environment â but the style, length and weight limit should be thoughtfully chosen by each owner. I do not recommend the corded model for walking through or around tall grasses, flowers, shrubs, kids or other wildlife.[New Classic Corded, 16 foot, Up to 26 pounds]

Very nice mechanism and burly construction
Our 20lb dog is pretty crazy so we got her the 26′ cord for medium dogs. The tension would be too much for most dogs that size, but she’s very strong and it’s worked perfectly.The handle is quite large as you’d expect for that functionality but it’s quite comfortable in my large hands. My wife’s complained that it’s too large of a grip for her hands, but she still loves the functionality to get over it.Product feels well built and has handled a couple drops to concrete with ease.

Good product, just too small…
I purchased the XS retractable leash for my 10 lb Papillion/Dachshund mix. The quality is good, price was great & the pink color is really cute. The Pros: It’s compact, lite weight, & durable. It uses a round leash line, instead of the flat ribbon version. The ribbon version twists & gets caught up when it reels back in. The round version works much smoother & never binds up. The Cons: The length of the leash line is about 5-6 feet. Not much longer then a standard nylon leash. Which kinda of negates the purpose of using a retractable leash. Secondly, it’s soo small that I can only fit three fingers into the handle grip, instead of all four which gives you a better more comfortable grip. The first time I used this leash was quite traumatic. Luckily we just left the house & were in my front yard, plus we didn’t expect the line to be so short. As soon as she ran out & the leash extended out its total 6 feet it jerked her back & because neither of us expected that she kept running & snatched the leash right out of my uncomfortable three finger grip. The leash hit the ground, retracted itself along the ride & flew up & hit her in the butt. Luckily she stopped but was standing like a deer in the middle of the road. I was able to approach her & scoop her up before any cars came along. Luckily a happy ending. My dog is a rescue dog & unfortunately she had a long, abusive life before coming to live with me. So these lil normal events to most are fearful reminders of her past. Needless to say I returned this leash, got a full refund & learned some valuable lessons. Read product descriptions thoroughly & test everything out before using it on her. Overall this is a good product. If you have a teeny tiny dog that you want on a short leash & you have tiny hands.

I bought this retractable leash when I got a bigger dog (58#).The first reason I chose the FLEXI brand is brand loyalty, I have owned small and medium duty FLEXI leashes in the past and like the durability and performance.This leash is rated much higher than my dog’s weight so it’s not surprising that it has been durable.The big concerns on retractable leashes are the snap (on any leash) if it fails and the springs or return mechanism. I haven’t had any issues with either component.I could have ordered a smaller leash but I wasn’t sure exactly what size dog I was getting. With this leash being built for a larger dog I think it will definitely be durable.This is and will remain my go-to brand for dog leashes.

Well made sturdy dog leash. I like that the leash part is corded rather than ribbon like, its more gentle when attached to my dogs collar, no pull. Nice and long, lots of room for when my pup runs beside my bike…he loves it

Es perfecta para mi perrito que es un chihuahua de 2 kilos la correo no lo jala. Otro punto en favor es que la corre es un hilo delgado no tipo listo por lo cual no se enreda ni hace nudos.
