This is a great cat toy, keeps her busy, she is older and needs the exercise, this is perfect. Battery seems to last long. No remote control but does shut off in 15 minutes, which is about the time she is tired. I bought another kind that shoots laser beam way out, however my cat loves this more as it goes around.

This works pretty well
This toy only does the laser light, but it does that pretty well. It’s simple and easy to work, and the kittens enjoy it. The pattern varies quite a bit which keeps them engaged. Maybe not for super long periods, but it does amuse them for awhile. It’s also a quiet toy which is kind of nice. (Some of the other devices we have make a lot of noise.) It can tip over, but that doesn’t seem to happen often, maybe because the focus is on following the light rather than capturing the device itself. And it seems solid, not that fragile. For a price point of just under $14, I think it’s a good buy.

A perfect exercise toy & distraction!
From the moment I opened up this awesome toy, my 1-year old cat has just been mesmerized and in love. I have a few cats and there are times when I am too busy to play with them. Usually right after I feed them, they are bursting with energy, and I try to spend at least 10 minutes playing with them. What I do sometimes instead now is turn on the laser toy and it keeps them running and jumping and excited for a long time! I understand that people want the laser to last much longer, but I actually like that it shuts itself off, especially since the cat gets tired or bored after some time. I like that it doesn’t have wires so that my cat can run freely without worry of tripping on it. It’s a cute design and it is very silent. I love this product and so do my cats, even if they just watch it and don’t move an inch, haha.

It’s okay, it just needs more bells and whistles for the price in my opinion. My cats like it but they get bored of the 3 settings and when you turn it on they will sometimes just watch it (see picture). I was expecting maybe a little more from the product. It’s a good start and sign me up for the next generation one that is made of a better quality (thin plastic) it has been knocked over twice when they were not playing with it and the top popped off both times. The top is just a little thin too breakable feeling as it is just a diamond shaped plastic with a mirror in it. I definitely wouldn’t leave this out when not at home in case they knocked it over again and broke. It would be nice if there were more options for it to move around instead of just in a circle and maybe if it could move onto walls. It is good for a small space like our apartment because it doesn’t take up too much room. But the cats got bored of it way quicker than just using a pocket laser. Overall I would give this a better review if it was just a better quality or was cheaper. I know $24.99 isn’t that much but when trying to find a toy that Kobayashi will continue to use instead of five times at most I would expect a lower price point. Or just add more features. Like I said before let me know when comes out with more settings, one that you can adjust the movement, maybe a remote or an app for your phone to turn on and off, a better built (not so thin of plastic), and maybe ways to mount it in different areas like to a wall or can aim it to point on a wall so he jumps all over the wall to get to it. Then we might have something in that price point. All of the products from Catit are cheaper and they get more usage out of them. Overall still love the idea and will give 3 stars but with some upgrades could easily see this as a 5 star product.
