It worked okay.
I like that I can carry it in my pocket. I’m unsure if the steam did much of anything. The brush worked well and the ejector worked well, too. The steam didn’t add anything to the process.

Poor bristles
This is not my favorite of the two cat steam brushes we’ve tried. We foster cats, so I thought it would be nice to have two of these brushes in the household. But the first one we bought without really paying attention to the design has bristles like a scalp scrubber, wide and thick silicone bristles. It’s great. Even the cats like it except for the one afraid of steam. But this has thin wire bristles, and while it’s good for scratching and the steam does the same thing, it doesn’t collect hair as well. Even with this wide head.

Iâve tried many of pet brushes. This is one of the better ones in my opinion. This is built very well brushes easily, and cleans nicely. Removes hair with no problems. My cat seems to enjoy it with no hesitation. The brush is easy to clean once youâre done using and leaves his coat, soft and shiny.

So my Cody baby was like what the fluff is this new gadget?? But he soon learned that it tames his crazy mane and helps with the fly aways and even removes more of the excess fur! Iâm glad mom got it sheâs always yapping about how sheâs covered in my fur!

Liked it better than I expected
I’ll start by saying it’s not actually steam, it’s more of a mist. So there’s no heat involved. Which is actually one of the reasons I ended up liking it better. I was a little concern about whether or not it was going to be too warm for my pets.. but since it is just a mist with no heat, its actually perfect.It’s a very light amount of water, none of my pets were wet by the end of the brushing. But it definitely got out some hair. I used it on an Australian Shepherd, so longer haired, and two cats and they all loved it. One of the things I like the best is that it does actually prevent all those loose flyaways. This will be the perfect brush for the winter time when I don’t really want to go outside to brush the dog in the cold.One issue I have is that the button for the mist is right on the handle where my thumb hits it all the time. Just constantly being turned on and off throughout my brushing, but I am trying to be more conscious and not hit the button.
