A Classic Book
I read this book to my 2 sons when they were babies, I gave it to my grandchildren, and now I have given it to my great granddaughter. It never ages and is a children’s book for the ages. I am a firm believer in reading to babies from the beginning. It is calming, a time to cuddle, and I think instills a love of reading from an early age. I give this book and others as gifts to newborns so the parents have it on hand right from the beginning.

In my opinion, this lovely book will never go out of favour. I purchased a copy for my son when he was little (he’s now 51 years old). I bought a second copy, just now, because we have friends with young kids who come to visit. (Truth be told, though, I bought this second copy for ME. )I’ve no doubt the book’s stellar artwork, it’s simple observances and rhymes, will continue making it a classic for generations to come. Highly recommended.
