Favorite children’s book in two languages!
This was my children’s favorite story book when they were little. “In the great green room, there was a telephone, and a red balloon ….”Some of my children are raising their children to be bilingual, so it is really great to have children’s books in two languages. Hopefully these will not only be fun for them now, as they learn Spanish, but also later, as they learn to read and write.

I bought this book for my toddler son many, many years ago. The book is delightful, and so beautifully and sensitively illustrated. I bought the bilingual copy for a neighbour’s granddaughter whose Dad is from Venezuela. Reading through it brought back many happy memories.
