Fantastic alternative to pack and play!
So we were going on a trip and wanted something that took up less space than a pack and play for our 6 month old. This absolutely nailed it!Assembly is basically nothing. Came out ready to use (but without the leg extensions installed). Just open, make sure it clicks, and you’re on your way. So easy. Plus, it takes up far, far less room than a pack and play. (We still needed one for our two year old, but for infants this thing is amazing.)I wasn’t completely thrilled with the leg extensions. Felt a tad bit wobbly to me, so we ended up just putting the bassinet on the ground and it worked perfectly like that.We did love that the mesh goes all the way to the mattress so we didn’t have to worry about our daughter rolling into a corner and smothering herself. We weren’t as thrilled with the bag it stores in. It’s a pretty flimsy material. That, coupled with the fact that the bag tends to hit the ground while you’re walking (because it’s a tote style) means that it’s going to wear through the bag material quite quickly. We never used the vibration feature since it uses a ‘D’ battery. I don’t think I’ve even seen one of those in like 10 years, so we weren’t going to go buy one just for this. If they had used AA or something a little more common (or even made it rechargeable!) it would have been far better.Overall, a fantastic portable bassinet that performed awesomely on our 9 day trip. We’d absolutely get it again if we needed another! Highly recommended!

    Nope!
When I listed this on my registry, I didn’t know where to start, so I just added one and it happened to be this one, but I would not recommend it. Although it is of good quality, and its cute, its just not the best out there. The shade is basically pointless, as it doesn’t keep light out at all. The vibration mechanism is extremely inconvenient as 1) it takes D cell batteries which I NEVER have on hand 2) The battery back is located inside the bassinet under the mattress and its a HUGE box that actually causes the mat to not lay flat. We ended up purchasing a second bassinet that is adjustable in height, as well as the side comes down.

    Lightweight and Roomy
As a grandmother, I don’t use this full time, so it is so nice that it’s lightweight enough to easily take room to room. I can even move it with the baby sleeping in it, although I’m sure that’s probably against some safety regulation or something. However, it is nice that I can put a baby to sleep in one room, then move him to another while sleeping, without touching him.Despite this being very lightweight, it’s the largest bassinet I’ve seen. Plenty of space for larger babies. It would easily accommodate any baby younger than crawling age, with space to scoot around in their sleep without immediately hitting a side. The mesh sides are fantastic. I can have the baby next to my bed, and see him without getting up to look inside. It also allows baby lots of airflow, so they don’t get stuffy or sweaty.I’ve saved the best for last. This thing vibrates a baby to sleep! So wonderful! There is nothing here not to love. Any parent or grandparent would love to have this bassinet. It’s so very nice to have a bed that moves around the house and also relaxes the baby with vibration. Excellent!

    Not sturdy
The “mattress” or sleeping surface isn’t sturdy and when you unfold the bassinet you will need to fiddle with the mat to get it to lay flat. It’s supported by a net and doesn’t feel stable at all. It would be fine for travel but I regret buying it for daily use.

Deceptively advertised- this is not the version that converts to a playpen as shown in the video
The video created by Graco included in the product photos shows a bassinet that also converts to a playpen, so that is what I was expecting. However, the video is for a different product, the Graco DreamMore 3-in-1 Portable Bassinet, which Amazon does not sell. You can purchase it directly from Graco for an extra $45. Adding a video for a different and fancier product similar in looks and name is misleading. I was hoping this would be an all-in-one solution to replace our old pack-n-play and our recently recalled rock-n-play sleeper. It would be a bedside bassinet for a smaller baby, a playpen for a big baby, and a portable crib for a baby of all ages. However, since this is just the bassinet, it will only last for a few months until the baby outgrows it.Cons:- This could be a pro or a con, but it is a con to me: the bassinet is large, making it almost as bulky and heavy as our old pack-n-play and not as portable as I had hoped. The bassinet is 22″ wide, 38″ long, 16″ from the floor to the mattress, and 28″ from the floor to the top of the bassinet (which does not match the product description) and weighs 16 lbs. With a weight limit of 20 pounds, the baby will be too heavy or climb out of this way before she is long enough to fill it up.- There is no support in the middle, and since the mattress has a fold in the center it tends to sag a little in the middle (as shown in the photo).- The vibrator requires a single D battery, which is under the mattress and not very convenient to switch out (especially in the middle of the night).- The instructions say not to use a sheet with the bassinet, but babies are messy and often have accidents, so I don’t know how they expect parents to provide a clean bed for their baby when they have to wash the cover in the middle of the night. We will be using a sheet and waterproof pad anyway.- There is a reason they don’t show the bassinet converting from full size to portable in the video. It says bassinet “lifts off” to be carried around the house, but it is more like “turned on its side and wrestle with the legs for a few minutes.” It is not a quick and easy change.- I wish the carrying case had a velcro strap or zipper to keep it closed at the top. The bag is a little oversized and would be tidier and more compact if it could be secured shut.- Unless you plan to use this outside, the canopy seems useless to me. I guess you might be able to hang a lightweight mobile from it.Pros:- The mattress cover is machine washable- The bassinet is well made, sturdy and stable, and looks nice.- It folds up easily by squeezing the two sides to move around the house.- Mesh sides provide airflow for the baby.- The mattress is not very thick but seems like it will be comfortable (the baby isn’t here yet to try it out).- It includes a carrying case and a vibrator with two speeds to soothe the baby.Overall it is a nice, large bassinet that does fold up for travel but will take up a decent amount of space in your car. I just wish we had received the product we thought we were ordering.
