Great Product for Removing Ticks Safely and Easily!
I recently bought the Tick Mitt to help protect my dog from ticks and prevent Lyme disease, and Iâm so glad I did! The mitt is super easy to useâjust slide it on your hand and gently wipe it over your dogâs fur. The ticks are quickly and safely removed without causing any discomfort to my dog.What I really love about the Tick Mitt is how it works without squeezing or crushing the ticks, which is important to avoid spreading potential diseases. I got this to use on our dogs when they come inside. We’ve unfortunately had ticks in our yard the past few years and more than once theyve ended up on our indoor cats or us, despite that the dogs are on tick meds. It seems to work well and I’m hoping it can give me some peace of mind and help us catch ticks before they end up in the house. So far, it’s been easy to use and even my husband has been willing to use it. It’s certainly easier than a visual inspection. Grateful for this product.

Game-Changing Product!!!
The TiCK MiTT is a game-changing product!! I have never felt safer going on hikes knowing I can use this MiTT at any time and not worry about the chemicals that are in other preventative tick products.It is easy, I’ve removed several loose ticks from both myself and my dog, a Cavapoo with curly hair — so the MiTT works with layered or textured hair. It doesn’t make his hair staticky either.Shockingly simply and effective!! So glad I bought this and its a great gift to friends with pets or who love to be in nature.

Does not work
There is no obvious mechanism that would make ticks adhere to this glove. Itâs not sticky, it doesnât have hooks like Velcro, nor teeth like a comb. I have previously determined that I am getting ticks after I get home. My precautions include plenty of DEET, proper clothes followed by an inspection and shower afterwards. I began to suspect infestation from the dogs after finding a tick crawling up my arm after petting the dogs several hours later. So this time I hiked with the dogs into a known tick-infested area. Then I rubbed both dogs down with the glove and did not pull off a single tick. Later, after a shower and thorough inspection, I found 3 ticks crawling on me. Do not waste your money.Also, if you wear a 2x menâs glove, prepare for a wrestling match to get this on.

Really just the same as using a microfiber towel that you can purchase for must cheaper. Having the mitt is convenient, but just not work the price for what it does.

Easy to use nice and soft and the dog enjoys it. Spotted a tick crawling on my dog and it did remove it, but any material similar would. All in all I would recommend this to carry in your pocket or bag when out and about with your pet.

With the unusually warm weather (climate change) there have been a lot of ticks this fall. I have rubbed off a few ticks with this mitt. You’d have to use the mitt repeatedly as the ticks move around on the dog. So, catch a tick, put the mitt in the dryer. Use the mitt again in 15 minutes, as recommended, and put it in the dryer. Then do that a few more times. I find ticks arise much later. I end up picking them off him and flushing them. I also use microfibre cloths to wipe his paws and ocassionally wipe off a tick that way. Btw, he’s on monthly medication and has a Tickless tag, so the problem for us, in this wooded area, is bigger than any of these products.Next spring we will get the property sprayed.

Doesn’t even try to snag a tick on a pass over it. Even when the tick is in plain site, an moving (not at all clinging to the dog). Multiple slow passes in multiple directions — ZERO attempt from the mitt to snag the tick. Maybe it works on different kinds of ticks in a different location……$60 wiping mitt for my work bench ? Vendor should pull the product. Money should be returned.
