Clean and Care. We recommend sterilize each haakaa Colostrum Collector before use with any steam sterilizing system or by boiling in water for 2-3minutes. Do not use any bleach-based agents to clean this product. Only soft bristle brushes or soft sponges are recommended. Use all the colostrum in the container for one feed and discard any leftover.

SO GLAD I had these!
I just had my second little one via c-section and I would have had to supplement with formula if I didn’t have these! (Which is fine for some but I truly wanted to avoid it if at all possible â¡) I couldn’t hold food nor water down for over 24 hours after my c section, so I became dehydrated and I wasn’t producing enough colostrum for day 2 & day 3. But thankfully I had these to supplement with!!While collecting the colostrum I found it easier to remove the cap entirely, instead of attempting to squeeze the tube and suck up the drops of colostrum per the directions. These worked phenomenally well with some patience and practice. Although a nurse at the hospital did manage to spill an entire tube… so next time I’ll chose to go with a bigger pack, just to be on the safe side!

These were perfect for collecting collestrum in the days leading up to giving birth. I collected in one syringe for a 24 hour period and kept it refrigerated. After 24 hours I put it in the freezer. I didnât fill them all the way but I didnât want to have to use a ton of 1ml syringes. My baby took all of these in the two days after birth and it helped with jaundice. The only downside is that it doesnât have the best suction so I do feel like I wasnât able to scoop up every drop. However, I am still so glad I had these.

It fits into the Frida Medi-paci!!!This was a nip lifesaver during the first night and day after labor!My nips were so sensitive I cried! I am so glad I was able to and did collect during the last few weeks of pregnancy. These allowed my nips to rest and skip feedings when they couldnât tolerate being touched. Although I did try pumping if i wasnât directly feeding.I wish they made larger ones. After filling up the set i started to fill up small mason jars. These droppers allowed us to suck up more milk from the jar and insert directly to the medi paci for feeding.It was tricky collecting milk/colostrum directly into the tube. I prefer collecting into a sanitized jar then suctioning into the tubes from the jar.

Overall, I like the idea of these, but since I only produced a small amount of colostrum, a spoon worked better for us. I did repurpose the labels and storage box though. For someone who would actually fill the tube, these would work nicely. They are soft silicone so safe to use to feed the baby from.

Absolutely LOVE these. I bought two different sizes, as I didn’t really know what I would need….so I got a set of two bigger ones and six of the little ones. The little ones came with a box to freeze them in and a little cotton cloth, which is super nice.These are pre-sterilized, which is great. The silicone is soft and easy to squeeze. I like that you can either use the dropper part, or open the whole top to fill them. I found them easy to pour into from my collection bottle (used my Medela Harmony manual pump).100% glad I purchased, and will definitely buy as a gift for my expecting friends.

I started collecting colostrum the week before my delivery and took these on ice to the hospital in the event of latching issues. They saved me! So so so thankful for this product.

Great for surrogates
Iâm a surrogate, and bought a pack a week before baby was due so that I could a)have some colostrum ready for the parents and baby while in the first hours of babyâs birth and b) wanted to pump to attempt to self induce labor without wasting the âliquid goldâ. These have been perfect! Great size for newborns, easy to store, love that theyâre pre-sterilized and come with a little case and labels. Win win win. Iâd definitely recommend to other surrogates or people who need to store colostrum.

I originally bought these to collect my colostrum which I did but after I used one, I was able to repurpose it for my babyâs nose. I put some water in it and gave a few drops in my babyâs nose and then used mucus ball to pull everything out! Works great.
